Hi, my computer's hard drive died and I didn't deactivate my modules (about 8 of them) If i remember correctly this would be my second reactivation on some of them because if recall i had uninstalled DCS world years and years ago without deactivating the modules i had at the time. Does this mean that i can still reactivate all my modules with my license keys or will i have any issues because i didn't get to deactivate my modules

Hey guys, will there be interactive training missions like on the a-10c or will it videos mostly i bought the beta and i was expecting to see all interactive training missions but i was dissspointed that it was all videos and 1 interactive mission with no voice. I know its a beta so i cant expect everything to be ready but i wanted to ask just in case thats not something thats planned

They should have a serial number merger, buy the upgrade, type in original and upgrad serials, get a new serial for the BS2 full version, then you cant use the BS1 for another upgrade

wow I really love the idea of the F-15C with DCS quality, taking off, engaging and landing will be amazing. BUT as others said it i would much rather the F-18C first since in the end the Eagle is a 1 trick pony. I can also see how it's a better business decision since it if they release the F-18 first most people will just fly that one and not really bother with the F-15C since it's just an air to air aircraft. Plus I'm sure everybody will want the F-18C with full blown Carrier Ops and im sure ED is aware. So maybe ED should just release the F-16 :D it's an F-18 without carrier ops.

This is something that makes the most sense, with the SU-25T being free to fly it should have a a full 3D up to date cockpit because it's a good way to show new users that are flying DCSW free to try it first what other modules will look like. This is a great move to showcase their products, they should add free civilian aircraft like a 152 or something as simple as possible to get the FSX users who only want civilian aircrafts to at least give DCSW a shot, that's just what i think. I can't wait to see all these new cockpits!

Hey c0ff, does this mean that we are installing the version for each language or is this just the installer and then we would instal the version in the language we want? Sounds like it would be a waste of space to instal a version of each module in multiple languages, specially for those with small SSD's, I'm just curious since i can't download it for another 7 hours. Thanks.

Hey DArt, I'm not sure if these has been asked before but I'm curious to know Can this be used on Single Player or is it just for multiplayer? How can it benefit single players? I'm not an online player but I want any module that's available! lol

Also Erforce, i bought a 128gb ssd to replace the optical drive with but after hours trying my mac wont boot from an external dvd drive or usb drive so im putting the optical drive back in, im returning the ssd but im going to get 32gb ram instead and maybe then i can instal windows on the hard drive n use a ramdisk on windows for dcsw. Did you guys enable trim on the ssds on windows? SO i installed windows, i checked and between my program folders and the bootcamp drivers i looks like im using 12gb of space, yet it says im using 31gb i did a right click on folders and checked their size and the sizes don't add up, i think this is what i was dealing with before, hopefully i'll find a solution

Im going with 70Gb for windows, the reason im asking is also because before i had 100gb for windows and i had like 10gb available with windows and dcsw installed, i did have helios installed and irtrack, also i had in the past bs1, lock on and fc2 also falcon bms so im guessing there were files left from those programs that were taking up space, im installing windows now so hopefully everything will go well

Hey guys, long story short. Got a 256gb to on my mac with only the OS on it, i was going to put windows on my additional windows 7 on the hard drive but now i want to try and add it to the SSD as well. Its windows 7 home premium, i want to get an idea of what the minimum size for the partition can be to run windows and DCSW with all the current modules installed including lock on, m thinking 60gb but im not sure if that will fit it Can any of you give me some suggestions? I also read about using a ram disk but im not sure as to what to do just yet, any advice woukd be great Also, if i was to go with a ram disk, does DCSW ever use more than 8GB of Ram and how big is the DCSW instal folder without mods?

Hey guys, just a quick update, i successfully installed the 2 SSD's on my iMac, so far i've only set up some of the OS X stuff, next on the list is to instal window on the SSD i replaced the optical drive with. Hopefully it'll work good

Erforce pretty much told you the whole story, my imac has a 2560 x 1440 resolution display, changing it to 1080 doesn't make a difference in fps so i would assume that macbook would work ok, installing windows on a mac with bootcamp is pretty straight forward, i actually bought the windows 7 system builder which cost $100 but it only works on this one machine because i think it's linked to my motherboard, you should get your friend to instal windows first then the free DCSW like Erforce said.

Well i ended up getting the 256GB for OSX since it's my bread and butter, just now after doing more research i ended up ordering a 128gb SSD with an optical drive kit to instal it on my imac, that drive will run windows since the optical drive on the 2011 imac is a SATA II while the hard drive and other ssd are both SATA III (i got a samsung 840 pro 256gb for OSX) My main worry was that you can't instal windows on bootcamp from an external cd drive, but now i found a bunch of articles of people doing this for macbook airs and the new macbook pros and people followed the same method on the iMacs after replacing the optical drive with an SSD I'm hoping everything will go well, in the end i saved about $150 by getting a 256gb and a 128gb ssds altho i ended up getting and additional backup hard drive. Hopefully I'll get some better performance out of DCSW for now i'm just excited and terrified of having to do the upgrade myself.
