  1. Same problem here. This seems more apparent when panning the external camera close to the ground near areas with heavy alpha texturing (eg: trees, chain link fences). I have noted that an adjustment to my mouse polling rate had a positive effect. If possible, set the mouse usb polling rate to 125hz for DCS.
  2. Hi there, spotted this quirk sometime ago... Start a mission with CA. Use F10 and select a unit. Hold mouse1 and attempt to scroll the map Result--Element containing ROE Formations etc will vanish. Tested on a 3xl L setup with all files default just to be sure.
  3. Hi skate What exactly is this supposed to do??? 'UIMainView = Viewports.Center' I see zero change here.
  4. Make sure you're using the latest graphics drivers for the ATI card and not the basic auto detected dealio from provided by microsoft http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
  5. ShuRugal there is a lack of critical information here about the engagement. Info such as aspect altitude angle-off airspeed etc for both aircraft. SA usually takes a steep fast dive due to heavy defensive actions over a short period of time, due in part to lack of support, or fixation. If you cannot establish a good picture, consider an alternative to deny the enemy SA, vanish, exit then reassess. observe, orient, decide, and act then repeat.
  6. Edit: Problem solved 'CargoIndicator_Page.lua' Line 18 Local Aspect = LockOn_Options.screen.aspect Changing this to a number lower than screen aspect will shift the item to the left. Lines 29,45,61,78,94,111,126,142 have a numerical value which shifts the position of the elements in a modular fashion along the vertical. (there is likely an alternative method for this) Hope this helps others with similar configurations.
  7. Hi there, As topic suggests, I'm searching for a method to move the cargo cam around for the Huey Using a 3x1L setup i find the default position (top right corner of right monitor)to be a major inconvenience. I have tried messing around with the files within the folders 'CARGO_CAM CargoIndicator' with minimal success, it appears i can move it in modular parts. messing everything up bit by bit.. :helpsmilie:
  8. To start AC from uncontrolled state First set the aircraft a triggered action 'start' Setup a basic trigger, define action as 'AI task push-start' If the AC has no waypoints, you can move it around via CA thereafter* AC may also be started with a move command via CA If there is no start up defined and no waypoints iirc *This might be problematic in multiplayer, not sure if it was fixed.
  9. Are you using target or plug and pray? Check that the Idle/on and off positions are set correctly, Check 'synchronize Hotas controls' is enabled via options. Before starting up, stir the sticks to endpoint and verify sync If using target, you should know there is one button to control each state for both throttles for 'idle' and 'off' near the inner marks of the control panel Do not set the throttle axes to issue the command. Set the command to use a pulse on the detent buttons
  10. Make sure you guys have a look into the 'Mediavps' files for the source code project as well. really gives it a nice boost for gfx As for getting the Tmwh to work with Freespace, you will need something like UJR + Jvjoy to combine the devices with pedals. There is a Trackir file floating around the Hardlight SCP site as well.. The only hiccup i get is with 3 screens wide + aspect seeker Lock cursor. Moves too fast during any lateral motion. Havn't found a way past that one yet, single screen works fine. If you REALLY wanna play the retail, Run Msconfig. set maximum Ram to 3096 or lower then reboot. This fixes quite a lot of older games actually. Just remember to undo the change for normal operations
  11. Goto the Nvidia website and try the official driver set. Win7 tends to load up it's own MS provided software for the display, Enough for basic functionality, not recommended for dedicated gaming :)
  12. If it's a 3x1 landscape monitor configuration Set DCS to 1 monitor mode Modify the field of view for the aircraft in the 'server.lua' file until satisfied. Line 44 for your A10-C 'CameraViewAngleLimits' for Min/Max values Try 44.000000,147.000000 as an example View.lua contains values for external view default Fov as well if desired. If all goes according to plan, this may also increase the framerate :) It appears the "distortion" may be a result of multiple viewports rendering from different origin monitor coordinates. That is, 3 cameras next to each other looking at the same point with potentially increased workload as a bonus.
  13. i attempted to Cfx my previous 6970 cards with a strange result Cfx was working, However it was scaling Negative. That is, 2 gpus = lower minimum framerate Played with Radeonpro a lot, no luck New system with 2x nvidia gtx670 cards sli scales extremely well.
  14. Sim player parameter check 'Laser on' Re-engage is authorized
  15. Sorry for the late reply Tested this and it works fine for most part so big thanks there  Cheers for the fix :smartass:
  16. Necc, you're half way there... After creating new nomad profile and tweaking sensitivity Left click the axes, select axis properties for that Navigate through the LGS 'Global Profiler Settings' and select 'Apply Persistent Profile' The selected profile should now be used for all games Disable as desired Via option 1 in Global profiler settings @Masterplus, Do you have 'Synchronize Hotas Controls' checked?
  17. As topic suggests, I'd like an option added to select from available liveries in-game. An extra option in the Left Alt ' window would be really nice
  18. Find this file :/Dcsdir/Config/View/View.lua Goto line 127 'CameraViewAngleLimits' Change the Min/Max value for your aircraft to something reasonable. eg : CameraViewAngleLimits[P_51D] = {85.0, 155.0} <Tweak as needed From there, it should be quite simple to get 50% slider axis to perform as expected
  19. As topic states, Hud information 'gear/target/weapon' etcetera are missing while using surround/eyefinity resolutions. Tested @1920,1080 and all is well 6040,1080 compass and reticle cues are there, the rest is seemingly not available. Is there any information on what i need to edit to fix this temporarily? Iinfo.lua edit for previous versions worked to some degree, not sure what the issue is now.
  20. Getting exactly the same thing here. I get this 100% of the time if i use "every frame" for cockpit resolution. Caging the shkval has no effect. The artifacts are still present with it caged. Turning weapons and targeting systems off and on have no effect either. Using nvidia surround on a gtx670 if that means anything. I don't remember having this problem with my ati 6970@eyefinity with 1.2.0 Has this bug been acknowledged yet i wonder? Very low priority it seems.
  21. Ah i see, very good! The only issue with this is the neutral position for the velocitator, but it beats having to use the back door approach to loading the cfg. on a side note I cant help but wonder if playing with the Nvg gain cfg lines might have any effect with ca :]
  22. I've noticed if i first join an aircraft, The input config seems to be affected. This enables me to use the pedals for turning etc. Are we going to be able to configure these actions in the ground unit category when the final version is released? Atm, using RAlt+J after selecting a plane , seems a bit quirky
  23. Yar, I love what you've done with the hdr  As well as the guns ground impact particle effects looks very naic! And the 'general' config tab. I went looking for the 'free camera' cfg category a while back and seemed to have lost it somewhere :( ahh there it is!! thankyou ;)
  24. Hey there, just got a slight issue with the 'push to zoom sight' thingy for ground units. I have Dcs running with 3 screen surround config. And it appears i need to change the Field of view values for the 'held' and 'on release' zoom toggle function. Any idea where i can start looking? As it is, Zoom in is too narrow, On-release reverts to a view angle suited for a single screen. :helpsmilie:
  25. Thanks for that :] tweaking it a bit made all the difference, dare i suggest an option slider for these things?
