  1. Alternative solution?? Can i create an additional camera and put it in the external monitor?? Can I controlled the position and angles + FOV of a camera Thx
  2. anyone of you tried the ka-50??? The HMS there is very simple, but effective. Look at that point, and press the button. The Shkval will center at this position. After that, you can refine the exact position using the MFD/Shkval-Screen... This is something i am really missing in the A-10.
  3. if your mouse has more than 3 buttons you can just map the LCtrl+C to one of them. With that, you can switch between "clicking" and "viewing" mode of the mouse. For the KA-50 that works better than any track-IR/Freetrack thing, due to the HMS system. I also use the mouse-view/click-thing for the A10, there it is also very good usable P.S.: for the mapping is use XMBC
  4. you could try to use the mouse wheel. i use the MW at IL2 for throttle, and it works about perfect....
  5. I had the same today in the black-shark. But hat specific aircraft had about 80% of its systems failed after grund fire.. I thought this happened to the damaged systems....
  6. AS far as understod that game, youi can modify snap views. Mayne it is possible two assign a snapview two look behind.
  7. You can try two things that might help: 1. Switch in the virtual stick rcrtl+enter two monitor the current stick position 2. Disable heading hold Have fun
  8. Sorry to post again in this forum, but maybe the A-10 drivers have more ideas how to solve that...... ______________________________________________ originally postet in the BS forum: Hi, is therea a way to send the snap-view´s to an external monitor?? In the best way, i press the snap-view button and the main screens stays the same, but the external-screen displays then the snap-view! Anyone done that?? Thanks me

  10. you can check the actual rudder position on the live-monitor. should be ctr+enter to show. If you see any drift/movement there, it might be your joystick. You can also try to reset the trim, and check wha is going on....
  11. What do you expect from an russian 80ies attack helicopter?? The ride quality of an mercedes S-class??? The noise level of an A380??
  12. I am using face track no Ir It worked perfeclty on XP32bit and now on win7 64bit. I use BS2, but BS1 should work well too. Just follow the instructions precisely... You will need no additional hacks or patches..
  13. you really just need two key's on your keyboard: throttle up throttle down At start-up, put throttle to "auto". That's it. If you are one engine is on fire, press "throttle up" for "full" power and prepare for impact. At the same time, check if you need the ejection-seat...
  14. stop it!!! we are talking about helicopters, not computer games.... Even the stick is on the wrong position, cheap home-brew cockpit... ________________________ My better comment is: Some things are as easy as it can be, and some are next-to impossible. Both at the same time. You have to adopt to the machine. You have to think "kamov". (Maybe all russians always think like that??) That´s wat i like. The elegance of of a hard wired machine. If you know what to do, the machine doesn´t get into your way....
  15. the shkval control was always a problem since is started using FaceTrackNoIR. Since the shkval is controlled over the HMS, it is really difficult to move the shkval to the correct position. I can control the shkval with the 8way/hat switch on my flightstick. this is pretty slow, but very accurate. The xbox-stick jumps into that gap. I rough position the shkval with the HMS. Depending on the distance to the target i use either the hat or the xbox-switch to finally set the position. If i have a second target to fight, i can without using the hms zoom the shkval out, adjust the tv-screen reposition the shkval within less than one second. For the final touches, i use the hat-switch again. I tried a lot with the the expo/curve function on the x-box-stick axis. This helps a lot, but it is still not as precise as the hat switch.. :( i also added some "dead-zone" on the stick, to allow press the button without moving the shkval again.. anyhow, it works good now...
  16. Hello everybody, i just wan´t to show you my DIY weapon/combat controller i have "build". It´s the first prototype, but it´s working quite good. I have used a cheap/clone Xbox-360 gamepad and modified it slightly to be able to install is on a seperate baseplate. The relocated stick controlls the Shkval direction. a press locks the target. The 4-directions pad controlls the TV-frame + the shkval zoom. the original(left) stick is not in use today, the trigger analog buttons have been removed, but can added if needed later. All other buttons are maped to the "usal" things you need for combat. All the flight functions i can do with the sidewinder-stick alone. For weapons/combat i use the additional board. Most of the buttons can be pressed during using of the shkval-stick. I play with the idea to add a keypoard-number-pad to it, to have more buttons. What i like: just 18€/€ What i don´t like: it still looks like crap
