  1. Yes, I experienced the exact same thing yesterday. I wanted to see what a take off using zero flaps in the Hornet would look like, and when I got to 130-140 knots the nose pitched up - it might even have pitched up so much that the tail struck the runway. Then it went into a loop, before losing all energy and crashing. I tried a second time to see if I could replicate it and the same thing happened - without any input from me.
  2. That was introduced with 2.9 - all the helicopters have that effect now
  3. Nah, it's a good mix, and there's not a whole lot of thundra in the places shown in the screenshots, so I guess we'll have to wait and see about that. There should be alot more trees though.
  4. The Scramble "Orbats" are really good, makes it a lot easier to realistically populate the map with static aircraft.
  5. I'm sure more landmarks and unique buildings will get added as development progresses.
  6. I absolutely love these markings, it's such a timesaver not having to visually scan through the map to find helipads and SAM sites.
  7. It's a very small thing, but it would be cool to see the IAF Museum in Hatzerim fleshed out a bit - I see that the general area with parking and everything is already there, it just needs a few static aircraft
  8. The lengthy preorder period isn't really the issue here - the problem is the lack of communication from Razbam/ED. They're dropping hints and conflicting information about a possible release date - Ron's "Two Weeks" joke really threw a lot of people, who apparently weren't in on the joke, off. And then they go and release it to a whole bunch of YouTubers (through a quick serach I found 15 YouTubers who seem to have access to it) who are now flooding YouTube with Strike Eagle videos - the Grim Reapers alone have done ten videos on the Strike Eagle in the last week... And all the general public has to go on is a vague hint in a video that it might be released in July. A quick update on what's going on would clear up a whole lot of frustration.
  9. And add to that the fact that every YouTuber and their dog has been given a copy. "Oh, so you've preordered the Strike Eagle? Well, it's going to be a few months more before you can check it out", meanwhile at the Grim Reapers "Can a Strike Eagle kill the Red Baron while doing the Star Wars trench run?".
  10. Growling Sidewinder did a preview video on the Strike Eagle more than a year ago, so I would't read too much into it. Hopefully it is very close, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
  11. Are there any updates on this, as I for one am certainly still experiencing this bug.
  12. It appears that the last updated messed up the track files even more, when I load a multiplayer track file now I load into the track fine, and I can see AI assets in the missions, but the player aircraft never show up. I've tried several track files from several missions, recorded on different computers. Any ideas?
  13. No, the Norwegian F-104s were not able to fire Penguins, the picture is from a test fitting and the missile is just a mock-up. The only aircraft to carry the Penguin in Norway was the F-16.
  14. No, of course not - it's like saying - "oh yeah, I would really like the carpenter to fix the plumbing in my house in stead of installing the windows." - different jobs, different skill sets, different people.
  15. Not really, Razbam are doing a ton of assets for their upcoming Falklands map, so there's no reason why Ugra can't do it for the Syria map.
  16. I'm fine with leaving the map as it is, but I wouldn't mind a modern version of it - I know it's not exactly great for fast jets, but I'd love to just play around in the area as it looks today.
  17. The first template that was released used a custom RGB profile and that's why the colors turned out different from what you wanted. The second template fixed this for all files except one. There's a fix for it here - https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=268090
  18. Fantastic! Great work! :)
  19. Any news on the new template?
  20. Yeah, I noticed the same thing about the darker colors, I tried to use the grey color you used as a base for your RNoAF paint and it turned out purple :P
  21. Very much so! The Draken's official top speed is mach 2, but I've heard it said that nobody really knew how fast it would go because it would run out of fuel before it stopped accelerating. There are currently two airworthy Drakens in Sweden, being operated by the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight. I was fortunate enough to pay them a visit this past week to shoot the two Drakens for an upcoming book. And what magnificent aircraft they are - I really hope Heatblur decide to go all out and give us a full fidelity Draken.
  22. I agree, this needs to be fixed - it's especially annoying in modules where left clicking one switch will move it to the up position, but left clicking the switch next to it will move it to the down position. I quite like how it's done in X-Plane where scrolling up on the mouse wheel moves a switch to the up position, and scrolling down moves it to the down position.
  23. I'm guessing the environmental lighting is the main thing here, but are the city lights themselves also being workd on, as they look pretty bad?
  24. So with FS2020 showing off their giraffes and elephants, are there any news on the cows?
