  1. Brewber and Shamandgg, you guys are way off base. Before you make your decision how about you read the other 70% of the thread you conveniently ignored? Get back to me after you've read all of them. Prophet's point was that cheaters and exploiters are the problem here. People that do that stuff cause problems in almost all m/p servers. It's just becoming more prevalent and it sucks. Just when Lock On is getting larger numbers playing online stuff like this pops up and dissuades others from trying multiplayer.

    I totaly agree.

GG thanks for your ideas. I read them, and they do show promise, your ideas are up too par as for what I would expect, hopefully is the key word. Thanks for at least bringing it up to ED. Hopefully ED will not only take it into consideration. But hopefully ED will make it happen.

    Cheers all

  2. Ok, this is my input. Not that anyone cares...

I know there are scripts out there to make ECM blink. I have it, tried it, works, but reverted back due that it does not allows human error to come in play once engaged in the heat of battle. I use the blinking feature manually, since reckon its more human. True maybe in RL the pilot might have only to press the 1 button once. But this is lomac. I call it an exploit, due that this feature is not included as a basic command and was not made available to all, don’t think it was to be intended as such. Allowing you and edge on the rest of the pilots that are not aware or savvy enough to make there own, then this is a cheat in my book. True I live with it, since, as I have no choice. But users’ using it, in my book, lacks goods sportsmanship for it lacks the human error aspect, as is, in its present form in lockon.

Hope ED improves ECM features in BS….

    This is my 2 cents.

  3. Um, an attack against an unsuspecting target? The *perfect* engagement is the one where the target doesn't get any warning until the AMRAAM lights him up in the end-game.

I'm not saying 20 nm maddags are realistic, or not. All I'm saying is that not being able to lock up anything with the APG-63 is a much bigger problem.

What is there to do? ED currently has their hands tied - I'll bug them later, be sure.

The F-15C's. It's a late 90s weapons platform fighting against early 80s tech, for crying out loud. Make no mistake, the Russian stuff will still have an affect on the Eagle's game, but the F-15C should still be able to fight BVR like it's supposed to. Being relegated to 6 nm for a radar lock is ridiculous.

Currently, BVR in LOMAC is a joke in terms of realism - I'll rank it just above Jane's USAF and Strike Fighters. Just accepting this "as is" is a mistake - we need to at least recognize the faults so that ED can improve on them.

    Your my hero lol :D

  4. So many wishes, so many competent lomac flyers. Remember BS was supposed to be out last spring if I recall correctly. I’ve been patient enough and will wait some more. Until it’s done is the word, and will wait accordingly. But reckon keeping wishing, might get ED attentions. You never know. Just bring the aim120 up to par. And let the battle sort it out … well that is one my wishes, lets be realistic since this is the aim or pot of gold at the end of the rainbow ;)

Keep up the good work all, ED and Beta testers. Until then will fight with less efficient missiles... Will work with it...

  5. Ok I'm running a 2 Core Duo e6600.. I'm still working on the O/C but haven't done it yet ...

But it runs rather nicely without overclocking anyway....

Your lucky, yum yum :D I want your specs, lol maybe one day :smilewink: I'm thinking of getting a

    Intel Extreme X6800 Core2 Duo :P

    price tag

    $ 1,183.00 Canadian dawm

Still working on it. Wheres is my bonus dawmit, lol

    Cheers

  6. ED knows - the issue has been discussed before. While they mentioned that simple resource management is planned for helicopter FARPs, it wasn't clear if the same functions could be pulled onto airbases due to the current code's limitations.

    Thanks :clap_2:

That's good news, keep up the good work ED & Beta testers

  7. Well my TrackIr 3 does act kind of funny sometimes, especially if I had running for while. Kind of aggravating actually lol. If related to heat, not sure, I’ll test it, will put it in the freezer lol. Not that I will be any good, unless I put myself in there lol.:megalol:

  8. It actual seems to happen only when I have shadows turned on to full. If I switch it to all planar it goes away???

Dawm shadow bug, you being a beta tester, hope you can work on it.

Until then, might try reverting back drivers to the one I mention. They work great on my 6800GT...It might help

    http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_downloads_winxp_2k_32bit_84.25.html

If you do install them, don't forget to use driver cleaner to remove all the temp files...

Not that I will fix your issue or maybe it will. Who knows? But at this point, process of elimination, when did it start?....

EDIT: I still don't use full shadow, due to the bugs that are within...

    Cheers

  9. The following screen is me looking back over my right shoulder. Im not sure why this is happening or how to fix it the right way...

I can fix it by turning of the reflection but not my 1st choice...I like my lift lines. Any sugestions would be much appreciated.

Humm, Kind of weird effects Eagle, did you alt-tab to windows or something? Happens all the time? I don't recall if your using nvidia, but if you do... You might give version 84.25 a try.... Cheers.

    Hope you sort it out
