Hi guys. I am taking notes on multiple requesta I’ve seen here. Some of them are fairly simple (shorter time for „long press”), some are more difficult but in works (different code pages and keyboard layouts). as for HIND, I dont have the module myself but when ai start 2weeks of free play I can debug. i know the changes are slow but I am leading a DCS squadron, fly real planes in free time, work and take care of my family so finding time to support rs mapper is not sometiing I find often. (But I do and I intend to finish announced functionality. In time )

Hi guys. I've just released a small update to RS Mapper with couple of bug fixed. by the way, I am still around and playing with RS Mapper but family, work, leading F-16 squadron and flying in real life takes awfully lot of my time so I may seem to be quiet for times Cheers, Avantar

guys, sorry for a bit of slow responses this month - I've been on sick leave a bit and later needed to catch up with work so didn't have much time for RS mapper problems / tweaks ect. I am starting my holiday on Monday and I hope to find some time during next 2 weeks to review what bug fixes and changes need to be done

hi Sobe, can you tell me what exactly is the problem? You mention continous key on .51 - does it always happen for you or just with some combination of actions?

Hi Gayle, Couple questions for you - do you use standard english keyboard layout? - Could you try to open a notepad, and try to press the Warthohg button with RS Mapper running? What character gets typed into the notpead? - Do you run RS Mapper with admin rights? Cheers, Avantar

I am a bit puzzled by this. Do you have those MFDs and Warthog connected directly to PC or by (un)powered USB HUB? If they are detected in the Windows they, well, must be detected by RS Mapper. Could you try and unplug and re-plug those devices? and only then start RS mapper? Thanks. Avantar

OK, what you are seeing is "may be dangerous" warning that windows 10 displays if MS servers does not cache a lot of downloads of the file. Most likely this will never disappear because well, to be honest you wont have thousands of downloads of RS Mapper, the "market" is too small. Also, the zip file contains an unsigned .exe file - I would have to pay for certificate to sign it and since this is non-profit app- well, I will most likely not do that. Having said that - I had this warning myself on my PCs :)

Hi Dunx. Is it just Windows complaining about lack of signied certificate or Windows Defender blocks the .exe? can you give me a screenshot? Avantar

Hi folks. I've released version 0.51 with fixed action deleting. Testing did not reveal anything else so I think the version is good to go. Enjoy.

Just a quick update. I've got the "delete" button fixed but I want to do some more tests first so to avoid releasing an Open-Beta Early Access version. as to donation link - I think I put it in "about" box in the app :) I'll try to release new RS Mapper by the end of the week (need to hide new "in-developnent" features too...) What language settings are you using? Keyboard layout / Windows language. And which version of RS Mapper are you using?

I know :) Please download 0.50 - you most likely closed it once minimized and discovered one more bug on my side. 0.50 solves it - it's been published today

Can you show me the .RSMapper file your are using? I've recorded the video how I've done it and.. well: "Strange, it works fine on my PC" :) Here, take a look:

Hi Sobe, as you described the Mapper works as designed. The moment when you press the lever the profile is changed to the 2nd one. When you release the lever RS Mapper will perform the release action from the 2nd profile, not the original - to go back to the 1st profile you need to map the "on release" action in the 2nd profile telling the mapper to switch to original one - it will work :) Cheers, Avantar

I guess I know what this is related to. I will do some tests and update in the future: in the 0.47 default length of a keypress was 60 ms. In 49 it is 50 ms. This 10 ms difference may be a reason why F/A-18 does not always register the button press.

Version 0.49 has been published. Single-press actions have been fixed. Adding to that I expanded RS Mapper with following functions: 1. Remember application layout 2. Added options to rename devices (from devices selection window and device list) 3. Added overlay displaying name of the currently selected profile Enjoy - and let me know ASAP if something is not working right.

Hi folks. it's embarassing but it seems .48 was not tested enough and there is a serious problem with it. I am taking it down from download and leaving 0.47. You can expect 0.49 in couple of hours with problem fixed - and couple of new features as well. Sorry for the trouble.

Hi guys. Just letting you know that version 0.48 has been released. It contains a pesky bug fix for repeat functionality (eject works now!) and also you can rename buttons for your devices now - it will be saved together with your mapping in .RSMapper file. Enjoy!

Yeah. it is because spanish keyboard has different layout than US. Right now there is no easy way out of this - you'd need to find the correct key that is triggered (you can map a key, and try to use it while having notpead open to see which key is exactly is triggered out of rs mapper). By trial and error you could find which key is in fact mapped to the dropdown choice of "i". In the future I am working (yes, slowly.. everything is slow nowadays) on feature that instead of choosing the key from the list would let you press the keyboard key - this way your problem would be gone.

Ok. had some fun. now I want to disable it to practice my landings.. any idea how to disable the easter-egg ?

This may have been asked in the past but I have not been able to search for it with success. Is only 1 GBU-12 for inner pylons correct? Will there ever be option for a TER with 2 GBUs on it?
