BIGNEWY's post in Why does editing your counter measures programs via CMDS_ALE47.lua break integrity check now? was marked as the answer
Really silly thing to say, of course we care, but we also have to provide servers with the ability to prevent cheaters, sadly some people feel the need to cheat and fake their skill and ruin it for others.
Servers can decide what level of integrity check to use, if they wish to allow edits or scripts they can.
As for the "monopoly" there is a reason for that, it is difficult to do what we do, and we have continued for many years where others have failed.
We may in the future look to make it easier for people who export for genuine reason using scripts when the server is using pure scripts, but I have no time line for it.
thanks

BIGNEWY's post in F-18 boring? was marked as the answer
Hi,
it is personal preference, I certainly do not think the F/A-18C is boring, it is a multirole platform that can carry out many tasks, with the added ability of landing on carriers.
I think with many things in DCS you do have to make your own fun, if you are not having fun try something else, that is the beauty of DCS, its a sandbox for whatever you want to do.
thanks

Please remove all unofficial mods

The crash occurred inside dxgui.dll.
Run a repair of DCS
Delete Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\fxo and metashaders2 and try again.
Next, delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\TEMP\DCS.openbeta and try again.
Next, try renaming Saved Games\DCS.openbeta to DCS.old and try again.
If you still crash after attach your fresh log or crash zip file

BIGNEWY's post in AI SPITFIRE BOMBS NOT DETONATING was marked as the answer
Thanks
some observations form your mission setup
the task for dropping bombs is to close to the initial waypoint, they will need to go around to complete a drop.
It maybe best to use carpet bomb task in this scenario
with mixed bomb loads the AI will only drop one type, it can not drop mixed bomb types.
The fuse settings in your mission were set to 0.5 h so there was a delay in the explosion, if you for example select 0 for nose and plugged for tail they will explode straight away.
take a look at this example

BIGNEWY's post in Continuous game crash was marked as the answer
Hi,
2x GTX 660 Ti is very low end for DCS sadly, you are going to struggle with those cards.
The crash you have is related to your gpu, you could try updating drivers, and ensuring your os is up to date also. But you may have more luck with a newer system.

BIGNEWY's post in DCS 2.9.2.49629 Open Beta update Multiplayer server crash was marked as the answer
It is important to remove user mods before updating.
We can not test user mods internally and we have no idea if any will break, so its best to update and test dcs in a vanilla state then add your user mods again.
Mod creators will need check their own mods for required changes.
thank you
