How many sales are there and at which time of the year? I will mark them in my calendar as "when to buy DCS modules without feeling ripped off" :D. If I'd known about the autumn sale a couple of weeks ago I would never have paid full price for the Mi-8, I would have waited.

At least now, more people will know not to buy full price anymore, surely nobody could be so foolish?

First off, new games -in general- don't go in to sale a couple of WEEKS after release. Would it have been ok do you think, if they'd had the sale only a couple of days after release as well maybe? Still, good for ED and Belsimtek, now they have educated even MORE people to wait for the sales instead of buying full price, maybe they should just sell the modules for 19,99$ straight away instead, if it's so good for them. Good for you on your full price Huey purchase, you must not mind getting ripped off then. I have principles though.

Of course they should be able to sell their products at a discounted price but to do it so soon after "pre-release beta something something" is very arrogant. They should have a rule like, a module has to be out for a certain amount of time before discounts are applicable. I'm not going to complain anymore, I'll just stick with this new principle of mine, not to buy early, not even the MiG-21bis, sorry Bezcl.:(

You know what, I can't for the life of me find that switch. I know where the master arm switch is but nothing nearby turns on any instrument lighting, heeeelp!

Probably a stupid question but I can't find the key to disable that yellow tinted "armament overlay" which displays all your armament data when the chopper is loaded with weapons. It's a bit distracting and I'd like to hide it somehow. Cheers!

Really a treat to fly especially after the Huey which, IMO, requires a lot more care when flying. Weapons are AWESOME! Having some difficulties with vertical landings, horizontal landings are pretty easy though. Only thing I miss are instrument/cockpit lighting. All in all, loving it! thanks for yet another great release. P.S Don't forget to finish it ;)

Simulation mode , duh! :);) Well, compared to most other sims that "try" to do helos it's remarkably well done. Hard as *beeeep* but once you start to get in to it, it's quite alright and the story mode is more fun than the usual sim "here's a map, here's some text, go do it" missions. It's more for fun I guess but I can tell you this, if I hadn't sunk several hours in to TOH before flying the Huey, there'd be a whole lot more crash craters littering the lands of Caucasus by now loL!

I was able to take-off, fly around and land the Huey all on my very first flight, lol! You may laugh and taunt TOH but the way you have to manage stick, rudder, collective and how the helicopters behave are VERY similar, very hard in other words. Still, it was no perfect spot-on landing in any way but good enough. Now to go through all the tutorials....nah! think I'll just goof around some more. Bought it yesterday, couldn't wait for the Mi-8, loving it, thanks Belsimtek! :thumbup: :)

You mean it will be released very soon or we will have more info very soon? btw I'm really looking forward to the Mi-8 too. I nearly bought the Huey but I can't afford both so I will wait for the Mi-8 because I find it more interesting. I have the Nemeth Design Huey for FSX already, it's enough Huey for me.:)

Looks like we'll be getting the Huey in the 1.2.4 update then considering it's in the "main focus" list. That's great news and almost soften the blow for those waiting for the MiG-21bis.

I have a very similar setup, no problems with scenes set to high. Since the same thing is occurring on two different computers with the same graphics card I suspect it might be faulty. Can be many other things too.
