  1. I remember we used to have some black nosed F-16s uploaded several updates ago, but those are all likely outdated...would someone be up to the task to maybe make some early USAF/European black-nosed liveries? It would be much appreciated!
  2. I have it downloaded and installed, but for some reason it doesn't show up in the ingame livery menu.
  3. I think it looks awesome! Very well done! And yeah, the real jet was very clean and glossy.
  4. I was thrilled to see that one of the Belgium black noses has been made. Is anyone looking at making some of the USAF black noses? There's just something sexy about that color combination..
  5. I was wondering, does anyone have any plans to make some skins of the NASA Tomcats? They flew a couple back in the 1980s.
  6. Is there any chance for the NASA F-14? They used a couple briefly back in the 1980s.
  7. Hello! I was wondering about possibly making a skin of the 147th FW/TX ANG 90th anniversary bird? It's a definite beauty and fairly unique as far as F-16 liveries go...thanks!
  8. http://www.defense.gov/News/Contracts/Contract-View/Article/855424 "The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded $12,053,076 for cost-plus-fixed-fee, delivery order 0002 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-16-G-0001) for non-recurring design and development engineering for an engineering change proposal for the “Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (Blue Angels) Super Hornet Conversion.” Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri (82.8 percent); and El Segundo, California (17.2 percent), and is expected to be completed September 2017. Fiscal 2016 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $12,053,076 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity"
  9. Hah, that kind of reminds me of the Slidell Air Show back in 2005. Couple A-10s from New Orleans were there to do a flyby..but, arrived before they were cleared in. So, they spent about ten minutes orbiting the air field and weaving about, then suddenly dove down and made a tight formation pass down the runway as soon as the airboss gave them the go ahead, followed by a sharp break that had them skimming the treeline. Definitely got the heart racing! I do appreciate it!
  10. Growing up, I lived in Slidell to the north of NAS New Orleans. Every so often, some of the A-10s would come low over the town, I presume doing low level training heading towards Mississippi. Good memories...always knew it was an A-10 coming over by the sound of that whistle. Probably saw a plane you worked on now and then!
  11. Well, not the ones I am thinking of. The New Orleans ones had the NO tailcodes with the 'Cajuns' and fleur-de-lis on them, while Barksdale ones have the BD tailcode with the 'hog mouths', no?
  12. I've been hoping for some skins of the former New Orleans unit, yet, it seems to be the only A-10 unit I can think of that hasn't been skinned into DCS World. Any takers, hopefully? Here's a couple references... Grey scheme they wore up until unit was disbanded: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_VGm_KikuffQ/SPrs5HrSntI/AAAAAAAAAHg/eb-EzGik4PI/s1600-h/020627_01.jpg Desert Storm scheme (including the aircraft that made it back with severe battle damage): http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/841/pics/3_28.jpg http://www.2951clss-gulfwar.com/photo_gallery/var/albums/A-10-Nost-Art/770205.jpg
  13. I ran a clean install earlier today, thinking that would fix the issue (it didn't). Apparently the clean install is for 1.5.0...buuuuuuuuuuuuut. The same issue I am having with the Mirage 2000, I'm also having with the updater. I think DCS world has decided it hates me.
