  1. Agree, the overall atmosphere has been captured perfectly. Sent from my SM-N986B using Tapatalk
  2. Hi, Have a look at RAF Air, we have a heli night every Monday, we're a small friendly group that will be transitioning to the Apache and have started some training using Apache tactics. http://www.rafairuk-dcs.co.uk/ Sent from my SM-N986B using Tapatalk
  3. Great idea, so much cheaper than a button box. I have it setup now as the weapons station in the hind.
  4. It's very rewarding doing those for the first time, after some practise you forget how hard these were. Agree with the detail, it looks so good sometimes, I still love multiplayer formation flying, being at the back and looking past the gunner and in to your mates cockpit takes some beating. 5. I was surprised too, but then I remembered episode 7, he has a 30mm m230 hanging round his neck, ready to go on manoeuvres! I'd love to see a YouTube channel 'Mike flys DCS' personally I think he's probably an A10 man. Sent from my SM-N986B using Tapatalk
  6. Makes you realise how far DCS has come. Sent from my SM-N986B using Tapatalk
  7. We had a multiplayer mission also with no targets. No scripts. https://www.dropbox.com/s/wcws825cz6rzitu/Tacview-20210921-200131-DCS-T99-210921-Faux-Fulda.zip.acmi?dl=0 This has happened to us a couple of times before. Faux Fulda.miz
  8. Our multiplayer group ask each Sqn to plan their own flight. They return a miz which we then copy and paste their flights in to the main mission miz. After the last update we have noticed that the copy and paste is not capturing all of the information, such as liveries and callsigns. These are not copied correctly. Is anyone else experiencing this? Sent from my SM-N986B using Tapatalk
  9. Problem solved, export lua overwritten by srs movement software I just needed to add the srs radio line in at the end. See srs common problems.
  10. Hi I'm running the latest srs version alongside sim racing studio movement software (SRSM). SRS is connected to the game fine and I have 3 green symbols and all works fine. I've loaded on SRSM for the movement chair, when I save the profile it stops srs from connecting to the game, my overlay turns red. I assume it's something to do with how SRSM exports? Any ideas or help would be much appreciated. Cheers Andrew
  11. It doesn't work with mine either, or my H3. I figure it's a Telemetry issue.
  12. I have now experienced the Huey shuffle! DOF reality H3 is all set up and working. First thought is that it brings the Huey alive. Bringing in the collective requires good anti torque control on approaches. The feedback comes through on the yaw access very well if you get behind the curve. Heavy landings come through with quite a jolt, smooth landings, with no yaw and just a slight contact jolt are now very rewarding. Pick up and taxi is very cool, the wobble in the hover all comes through while you get yourself stabilised. I definitely recommend it, and it doesn't take up as much room as I thought it would.
  13. Not sure where you are, but these chaps soldered a usb header back on my pointctrl. £10 Asap Electronic Repair 0118 984 5005 https://maps.app.goo.gl/83ss2N8rqB2VAH9s5
  14. Cheers Hannibal, Where's the best place to read up on it, I have no idea what angular velocity is. Ive started looking at the SRS software settings, but much seems to be for racing games. Is there a specific dcs thread or forum?
  15. When I'm all set up I hope to do a specific helicopter review. I have no idea how the tilting will translate, especially with pedal turns etc.
  16. That's a no then. I've just ordered the h3 and I'll let you know in 3-4 weeks.
  17. I use the x56 as well, it gets slagged off but I can fly the Huey as good as most in our group. Get an extension, mine broke the other day and had to fly without, all good but an extension is a bit of luxury. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  18. Lovely piece of work, how long do you think it will take to complete? Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  19. This looks interesting, it will certainly enhance multiplayer play. I shall try it out over the weekend. Cheers Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  20. Looks great, so no problem with the balance by adding the pedal support? Motors stay cool? I'm looking at this, but dof reality seems better value. There's not many dcs users out there, even less (none) that can compare the products. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  21. Yes please show us the end result. I've been through the trials and tribulations in 40 posts! I've been flying with x56 throttle so I'm really interested, you say it's like light and day and I need to get a collective . Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
