Mission o8 CTD on my side about 40 nm away from carrier after successfully taking Red to divert base. Three vehicles destroyed. Im posting this just in case it is of any help.

End mission trigger when landed and parked on moving carrier?

May be you can put a small moving zone (moving with carrier) on Elevator2 and check player is inside zone, and player speed 0 -
I think you can get them from the debrief in single player and log file in multiplayer

It would be nice to have voice commands recognition included into the Voice Chat ED is developing, so we would be able to deliver commands (my idea is radio commands) just talking through voice chat, a little bit like voice attack does now, but inside the game

I have been there too. Now I can plug at first try most of the times and keep there till I finish. And most of the trip was getting to stay hooked for more than 10 secs. Then, things get better quickly. What I did is practice some time everyday. It doesnt matter if you do well or not. To succesfully refuel you need 2 things. One, to have a feeling which trajectory the basket must doo in your cockpit so you gey into it. Second, a muscle memmory of how much you have to move your stick and throttle to keep position or move a little. Both skills need a little time to build up, but when you get them (and you will get them) it is so much easier... Do not give up. You are not far from succeeding ;)

My 2 cents. Although I appreciate the effort ED is doing to keep us informed, I do not like the hornet being taken out of EA with so many features missing. I am afraid they will never be finished this way. I must say I specially appreciate Matt Wagner's posts and videos. If we have to choose, I would have the plane finished first, new weapons and pod added later... I also find important the ability to fight at sea (SEA modes radar, HARPOON fixing) as water is a big portion of the maps and it seems it is gonna get bigger. I am also looking forward to some kind of aircraft and mission cards that would allow us to have less setup work in cockpit everytime

I think it is said somewhere that stars in DCS are correctly positioned, so the night sky we see is dead on. But it is very difficult for me to spot the very few constelations I am able to tell, because all stars look more or less the same, while in the real sky some stars are much more noticiable than others. Would it be possible to give a magnitude value to each star so it would resemble a little more the real aspect of night sky? It would be awwesome to fly by stars at night!

I think the inmortal option in your logbooks just keeps your record open in case you die. To become invulnerable in a mission, you have to edit that mission and set your aircraft to invulnerable

For me, asking to abort take off via radio menu makes the trick. Then I press "U" again and get hooked -
Lets start by saying that I really appreciate the huge effort at transparency that is shown in Kate Perederko's reddit post. This is outstanding. Not only the post but the fact ED listen to us, its costumers, and discloses openly its strategy and problems just because we feel disinformed. Kudos to that, But I wouldnt be honest if I didnt say that I feel dissapointed to see some long time awaited features still put into the inactive list, more than a year after the early access launch of F18. For me, it is mainly aircraft AI, ATC, FLIR, AG radar.. We cannot complain anymore about not being properly informed, and perhaps this is the way it has to be in this bussiness and with this legacy code as a base. But for me (I have no clue about professional software development) things are coming too slowly, sometimes pacing up (it seems) but some other times the rate of new updates and fixes seems to drop a lot and I desperate. Looking at the remaining "to do list" makes me wonder how long it is gonna take.. That is where my feeling of frustration comes from... Thank you ED very much for listening and finding some time to take care of us. I will continue to wait and hope...

I am also looking forward to this campaign.. But I would love to be able to play it in multiplayer. I understand there are some difficulties involved. Perhaphs lack of a multiplayer campaing in DCS could be circumvented by releasing it as a group of missions with some instructions to proceed from one mission to the next. The copyright or digital rights management for a multiplayer thing looks to me more difficult to solve. But I am sure I am not the only one who would appreciate you guys finding a way to do it. I think most of us would be willing to pay some extra for a campaign we can fly cooperatively with our friends. -

I have ths same problem, but only with missions made after the update. The ones I did before last open beta update still work. Any clue? Thanks

As server host I can't launch from aircraft carrier (Open beta)

I have the same problem. Usually, if you taxi into cat #3 you are able to launch. But #1, #2 or #4 don´t launch me. Besides, it seems that if you are the first plane to hook to the cat in the MP event, even cat #3 doesn't launch you. Then, if you unhook, go for a tour and hook again, you are launched. Don't know if it is reported elsewhere or if there is an easier workaround... -
No labels here. Although I am a bit frustrated with the Ai ability to never lose sight of you and how hard is to spot them...
