No, devs send files to Steam and Steam is releasing it. That is all and simple, also no time is taken. I think ED is lazy about this. Also from Steam. Automatic game updates Hunting for patches and downloading from unorganized web sites is so twentieth-century. On Steam, your games stay up-to-date by themselves. No hassles. http://store.steampowered.com/about/ I think ED is knowing this too. Because they are selling their game on that platform but they are not making auto updates for their products. That is really annoying, if you don't use Steam's features then don't sell your product on there. Sell the product only on your page. :)

So problem is Eagle Dynamics then, why they don't send latest files to Steam? It would be really good to have latest version on Steam too. Can we get an answer from ED please? Thanks.

Steam version is 1.1.0.9 right now, not even 1.1.1.0. :(

I am talking for DCS games BTW, not just for A-10C (I already know this game is new), Black Shark too.

Hi, I don't know here is the right place to open this topic but I got a suggestion. As you know Steam and other digital stores are making great deals like weekend deals, midweek deals and etc... But I didn't see any price cut for DCS games on these deals. Maybe Eagle Dynamics will make deals on Steam for their games in future so a lot of gamers can buy the games on these deals. It would be really good for multiplayer and for the company. Think, in these deals everyone is buying something surely. Thanks.

I hope they will remove the 3rd party DRM on Steam. Steam itself is a DRM and don't need 3rd party DRM's. 1C Maddox Games also removed the TAGES DRM from IL2: Cliffs of Dover on Steam. Finally Steam Overlay is not working with A-10 Warthog (we can't chat, we can't take screenshots and etc.) I hope you will tell that to devs too, thanks. :)

Hi, 1. Steam version is not using Starforce DRM and only using Steam DRM, right? 2. Game updates will be released on Steam at the same time (day) like the non Steam builds? Also game is using autopatcher (client like) to update the game or updates will be released on Steam auto patcher? Thanks for the answers and I really thank you for releasing this awesome game on Steam too with IL2: Cliffs of Dover, I don't need to buy another sim game for next 2 years. :)

Game is released at Direct2Drive today. I think Steam release is soon.
