  1. yeah last took about 5 hours and it seemed to break more than it fixed. Couldn't face download again to roll back to 2.5.5
  2. I noticed that trying to update from 2.5.5 to 2.5.6 my downloads seem to be limited to 0.9mb/s either torrent or http. I put this down to server load. I have just tried downloading the F5 Aggressor campaign and am getting the same speed. Is there a setting I can change to increase the speed or is it a server side issue? It isn't a problem my end I have 70mb/s connection and downloads from any other source are way faster.
  3. I thought so too but didn't work, even tried just full afterburn to see if it would force fire but no joy.
  4. Having the same issues with F14 single player missions and campaign
  5. So I updated to 2.5.6 and my favourite MP servers have already rolled back to 2.5.5 Rather than go through the hassle of rolling back I thought I'd check out the F14 campaign and single player missions. As the title suggests I can not for the life of me get the cats to fire. After pressing shift+U my guy salutes then nothing happens. I'm getting this bug on various single missions and campaign. Also finding some missions load to map screen and I never get to the cockpit of a jet.
  6. Yes I'm having the same issue but only in multiplayer. FPS down to 11:mad: I can no longer use Oculus with DCS
  7. Could it be that the Nvidia driver is harder on CPU? As I said I didn't have the problem with R9 290X (inferior card)
  8. Hi I'm having the same issue here. I have just upgraded my graphics card from MSI R9 290X to a 1070Ti. With my old R9 I could run DCS on modest settings with PD of 1.4 and it was perfectly playable. After my upgrade to "VR Ready" card with latest 430.86 drivers, I'm getting horrible stutter with performance down to 11-15FPS according to Oculus Tray Tool but only in multiplayer servers. Single player I get 33-40 on airfield and silky smooth 45+ once in the air. This does point to a Nvidia specific problem. I will have to stop playing DCS in VR until this is fixed. Note: stutters seem to start as soon as I press the Multiplayer button and the server list shows up.
  9. Ok update, I just managed to get in 104th server in F14 after adjusting my page file from 30Gbmin 30Gbmax to 50 50Gb. Not sure if it's a one off yet but will keep testing.
  10. I'm having the same multilayer issue, other modules load in no problem. Had this problem in 2018 and it seemed to get fixed after an update. I have 16Gb and 30Gb page file set. I've tried system managed setting as well but no joy.
  11. I have exactly the same problem. I have ran the DCS_updater commands to update and repair the client but still not working. I can connect to the server fine and pick a slot, however I time out just as the nose of the aircraft (F14) and the cockpit begin to render in.
  12. Yep same here guessing a world update is needed first but nothing available yet.
  13. **FIXED** Deleted all Saitek drivers and game config folder from my pc again and reinstalled them. Put sticks in USB 2.0 ports AGAIN as suggested in earlier post and bang this time it worked!! Thank you very much for everyone that offered help and advice. I haven't played A10 in a long time (babies and stuff) so looking forward to learning again. Nice to see the sim world still has a great community, once I'm back up to speed I'll no doubt fly with some of you online. Kind Regards, Blackbird30 :book: :pilotfly: :D
  14. After a full reinstall including deleting the "My Game" DCS folder I still have the same problem....
