Make sure you have the autopilot and/or altitude hold turned off when flying the training missions. In several of the training missions, when you take control of the flight, the autopilot/Alt-Hold will still be enabled, and what you think is a sensitive pitch is actually you and the AP fighting each other :)

The image in the manual clearly shows fuel flow on the left vertical "tape", and fuel remaining on the right "tape". Wish I was at home to check this, but I wont get a chance to look until Thursday at the earliest... :(

Maybe I missed this before in an earlier release version, but does anyone know when ED enabled LUA export for local data while in Multiplayer? Just testing it today, and I was able to export my local info (engine RPM, fuel stats, MCP state, etc) while connected to a multiplayer game... "world" objects are still (thankfully!) disabled... So, when did this happen?

Just a heads up to let you know that the VVS504 server will be offline for most of the day on Saturday 18th February, due to a complete server room power down (electrical testing). During the power down, a lot of the kit (including the server) will be shuffled around, completely recabled (network and power), and new switches installed. Expect it to go offline around 0700-0900 GMT, but no ETA for power on again... it will be on when all the work is completed. I deeply apologise to the usual addicts for this break in service....

Yeah, I can do more stats magic with time and kills/deaths... oh joy!! I think I found a bug, and I am trying to work out how it would affect the stats in general. i`ll wait and see if i fixed it, then look at reseting the stats.

Just looking at the export.lua, quite sure there isnt a problem there. Moving onto the code that watches the game + net event log that is created on the web server, it could be in there... If I do find a bug, it would mean I would have to clear all the current stats and everyone would have to start again.... :(

I`ll go take a look... could be a problem with the export.lua code, which will be a bitch to find if its one of those things that require a certain set of things to happen to make it "Go wrong". or maybe you spend so much time on the server that the stats code just has your name burned into its memory :)

If I looked out of the canopy and saw this: OMG! where are my rotors... eject eject eject...

Is it just me, or are those trees "SpeedTree" tech, or basic flat trees? Need to see more of those, close up..... Also, need to see the "Black" Black shark... And need to see it to blow stuff up... And need to see it fly fast + low... ... and so many other things I need to see. Not gonna sleep for a week now (no, not from the music)

cant find the posts about this that... Where is the option to disable the in game kill/death messages on a server? I know its here somewhere, but the forum search function isnt helping much :) (Ignore: found the post eventually - config/network/stats.lua)
