Sooooo..... Any solutions to my problem?

Hi, i recently bought the Dell u2711 27" monitor. Been playing games and watching movies on it fine but im getting some problems running games at 2560x1440. At the beginning the games run in slow motion, sometimes everything goes back to normal after some minutes but most of the times i have to lower the res to 1920x1600 for them to run smoothly, including A-10 and other FPS games. Ive tried playing around with the settings, v-sync and also unninstalling and re-installing the latest ati drivers but no luck. Im also using a good quality DVI cable and i know for sure my pc can handle the games at the native res of 2560. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi, i have 2 8" lcd monitors (dont know the brand) that are similar if not the same as kuky's. The problem is that in order to use the thrustmaster mfd i have to resize the image a lot to make it fit inside the vieable area of the mfd bezel. I have an ati 5870 but using the control panel + the osb options on the monitors itself i can only resize the image maybe 1/2 inch on both sides wich is not nearly enough. Ive tried decreasing the monitors res but still the same. How can i fix this? Thanks.

Can anyone tell me for sure if a a pair of samsung usb 7" will work fine in win 7 64-bit and in DCS A-10? Will i have any problems at all? I know it would be better to use 2 8" lcd but i will buy an nvidia gtx580 and i dont have enough connections. I will connect my dell 24" to the hdmi, then i have a spare monitor that i will connect to 1 dvi leaving only 1 dvi for 2 monitors so i want to use usb instead. Anybody got a concrete answer?

Yea im aware that the sim doesnt support this but for other games for example. The gtx 580 and gtx 460 is the same chip? will this 2 work in sli?

Hi, can anyone tell me if its possible to put a gtx 580 and another (cheaper) card like the 460 in sli together? I know ATI has this technology like a 5970 and a 5870 in crossfire so i was wondering if nvidia has it too. Also will the 580 downgrade itself to perform like the 460? What other combinations are there to use with the gtx580? Thanks.

Hey guys im planning on buying a pair of samsungs 7" u70 usb displays to put behind my cougar mfd's and i would like to hear some opinions from current users of this monitors, the pros and cons. Is there any conflicts with vista 64 bit? does it work well in games as mfd's? Does it fit firmly and nicely behind the cougar mfd's? Pictures would be much appreciated :) Thanks.

Hi guys, me and my squad (the 67th vfs) are looking to join a big international squadron as a secondary squad or a squad in wich we can fly as an extension of the squadron. The thing is that the 67th vfs has been around for over 7 years but we are only 3 members. We have tried to expand for years but the problem is that we are all real life pilots and student pilots and we dont have much time to fly together all at the same time. I am available on weekends, 67th_Nighto flies for a company 15 days a month and can only fly 1 or 2 weeks a month, and 67th_Miracleman flies 757 and his schedule varies. We are looking to join another squad with lots of members, lots of activities, and based on realism that flies the A-10C. The only thing we demand is that the squad allows the 67th vfs members to fly together in the same flight when there is more than 1 67th member present during a flight. Other than that we will fully integrate the squad and follow all the squad rules. Hi all, i have my cougars MFD's but i havent yet attached them to my 8" lcd 4:3. The question is, whats the recomended way to attach them to the screen? i dont want to glue them. All the ideas are welcome. Thanks.

Some Ati cards work well in crossfire for example the 5970 and the 5870 since the 5970 is basically 2 5870 gpu's in the same card only downclocked a little bit. You can see the compatibility chart at http://www.ati.com

Well i already have an almost new i5 lynnefield at 2.8ghz stock and an almost new asus p7p55d pro mobo. In order to upgrade to an i7 with stock speeds of over 3.0 ghz i would have to get a new mobo too and that i will NOT do. I guess i will stay with the 5970+5870 and overclock the i5 at 3.5-3.7ghz. Also i hope that ED hears our prayers and offer compatibility with crossfire on the final release because having such a beast of a pc to use it on a 40% on the sim i love and use the most is really a shame. I just want to be able to play A-10 at 2560x1440 with everything maxed out and have above 25fps all the time. I have the hardware for it, i just need the permission . :) HOPE THEY HELP!!!

Hi all, i know this question has been discussed before but i just cant find any direct answer from any of the producers of ED. I have a 5870 and will be ordering a 5970 to put this two on crossfire ( or triple crossfire since its 3 gpu's). I know the game DCS A-10 is not yet optimized and does not use crossfire but the question still remains: WILL THE FINAL PRODUCT BE OPTIMIZE TO USE CROSSFIRE??? please i would appreciate anyone who knows the answer to this for sure, no speculations since we already have lots of yes and no's out there on this subject. It would be a real shame not to use this technology, i will be playing at 2560x1440 soon and i would love to play at max settings with good fps and seems the only way i will be able to pull this off is if the game supports crossfire. Hi, i have read the manual and watched several videos on youtube about this but i still cant get it right. How do i use jdam on multiple target in one pass? Can anyone write a step by step guide on this? I read somewhere that i have to tgp the target and set a mark point for each target but my question is, when i press tms right short to set the mark point, how do i know wich mark point i just set , where can i see this and how do i switch the mark points so the tgp points to each target with its assigned mark points (i mean whats the key i should press on the warthog hotas)? Also when i spi the tgp i cant seem to center it back to the middle of the hud anymore. How can i reset the tgp view to the center after i slave it to spi? Thanks.

Hi again, yesterday someone in this forum help me solve a big problem i was having with my anti-aliasing but the biggest problem i have with this sim is yet to be solved. When im playing multiplayer my game just closes to the desktop after sometimes 2, 10, 30 or 40 minutes of gameplay. Lately it hasnt even last 10 min. It doesnt crash or freezes, it just closes to desktop really fast and without warning. This happens at any situation in the game and I already tried different drivers, i tried to completely reinstalled the game and i tried different graphic settings. I also know that is not overheating as I have aftermarket coolers for both gpu and cpu and they run cool. Any solutions? System spec: Ati 4870 AMD +6500 3.2ghz 2 gb OCZ pc 6400 memory ddr2 500 GB HD Asus motherboard.

so i uninstalled CCC and installed ATT, no AA no matter what options i use. WTF!!!
