Yes I'm sure ED would like to sweep all us "jet guys" under the rug...too bad they make it feel like we must be cast aside for them to move forward instead of recognizing that us "jet guys" have been the ones buying their sims for years...customer appreciation is not high on ED's list of things to do? Question on the AH-64...how will single player work with a two-person aircraft?

ANY fast mover is the KA-50s enemy...it's too slow to live! Maybe that's why they wouldn't allow fast jets in BS?? :smartass:

Specific things maybe...but I bet they could do a very impressive approximation and still avoid the top secret aspects...And since none of us are real A-10 drivers we won't know that the MFD doesn't display ALL the pages the real one does...

If ED do the right thing and release a final patch for FC to fix the most glaring problems it won't suck. If they drop FC (and its fans) completely it will suck.

Great to hear that this aircraft will get the AFM treatment, but why the A-10A and not the A-10C? didn't ED do an A-10C sim for the national guard?? Me want MFDs!!! :joystick:

As long as ED does right by its lockon customers and releases a patch for FC to fix its issues, I'll be happy and look forward to their future work. If they just dump FC as it is...I will be unhappy...and less excited about their future work. Here's hoping they do the right thing!:thumbup:

So the announcement is out...FC is getting dumped...and so you just cut all the forums off and say see you later? All the amazing mods in the works and now you pull the plug. Nice job once again ED....

I like to think that modders (at least in this community) do it for the love of the work and the love of the sim. If they did decide they wanted to be paid, they should realize that the level of not only the product, but the after-purchase support would have to match its status as payware. That in and of itself could make it more trouble than it's worth. And I would definitely not want ED to make one cent off of their work. Me personally? I'm a pretty cheap bastage. The mod would have to really blow me away for me to feel like it brought enough value to an already great sim for me to shell out money for it.

From the shots it looks like you are using rockwelder's beta?? So your mod is going to be compatible? Is there any way that the release versions of grandsurf and rockwelder's mods could be merged into a single release uber Lock On world upgrade mod? It would be the single most important mod in the history of Lock On so far....IMHO :D
