  1. I want a G2 and I'm really excited but missed the preorder :(
  2. Anyone got a used FSSB their looking to sell? Update: forget it, I just went ahead and bought a new one.
  3. Yeah, my second monitor made mine stutter real bad until I got rid of it.
  4. Use this instead "motionReprojectionMode" : "motionvector", Do not use a second monitor, turn it off if you do.
  5. DCS hangs now and says suspended in the task monitor. It just started ong this :(
  6. With a 2080TI and the shader mod, I average 12 - 13ms on GPU in caucasus map free flight with f-18 and it spikes to 18-20 ms when I look left or right at the terrain trees. It is very smooth No shader mod, I average 18 - 20 ms on GPU when look at forest of trees. My current DCS Openbeta with shader mod settings that give me 45 FPS and very smooth performance for the most part even with the f-14.
  7. Anything over GPU 20ms is a jittery stutter fest in DCS and the only thing you can do is upgrade your video card or lower graphic settings if you want to get the MS lower. That's just how DCS is. Also forgot to mention you can try the VR terrain mod, it helps but breaks IC in multiplayer. Good luck.
  8. Make sure both the steamVR video tab and application tab SS are both set to 100%. The SS does not appear in the application tab until DCS.exe is actually running. Even if you set the SS to 100% in the video tab, the application tab my still be at default of 140% for a 2080Ti. I recommend you get FPSVR from steam, it will tell you many bits of VR data on how your system is running with games. I thought just by checking the box in the video tab I would run all games at 100% SS but FPSVR told my I was running Global resolution at 100% and Application resolution at 140%. Global 100% * Application 140% * DCS 1.0 PD = a ton of pixel greater than a 2080Ti can handle. Also make sure you activate "motionReprojectionMode" : "motionvector" to lock you in at 45 FPS at all times. Also set global illumination in DCS to off. You'll take a hit leaving it on for no known visual benefit IMO. Took me a while to get set up for very smooth performance with my system and also learned SLI and a second monitor made DCS jittery even with great GPU and CPU usage around 12 - 18ms.
  9. Drives me nuts too. The mouse should still work in DCS environment though so that's good.
  10. I was getting the same issues on my first Reverb after I did the cable mod. I recommend on your next one, not to bend the cable and just leave it alone and hang down. I left my new Reverb cable alone and have not had any issues so far. There should be no reason to do the mod anymore with the slip on clip as I suspect the cable may be getting damaged by putting those sharp bends in them for the mod. Just my two cents, take it for what is worth.
  11. How long was your typical running session and your longest so far before it crapped out on you?
  12. FYI - Those with dual monitor and/or SLI set up with a Reverb, I found having those active was causing DCS to be jittery even when I had CPU and GPU frametimes around 11 -18ms. I couldn't figure out why DCS felt like it had slow FPS when looking out the sides of the cockpit looking at terrain objects even when I had a constant 43-45 FPS with Reprojection enabled. As soon as I turned off both SLI and my second monitor, DCS complete smoothed out with the Reverb.
  13. Owned both the Reverb and the Index, kept the Reverb and sent the Index back.
  14. Return it, $650.00 should be dead pixel free.
  15. Yes, mine is the same. I suspect the 25th week HMDs were the first batch that got the fixes since they came with clips and went to a few retailers out of the blue and when the feedback said no more issues from those of us who bought them, HP went into mass production for those they're selling on their website directly last week. I'm just guessing BTW :)
