Use the plane as the main reference point, not the probe. Maybe try putting curves on X/Y axis (like 15-20). And then practice, practice, practice and patience. Last week I was spending 2h/day practicing refuelling, on the first day I wanted to smash the screen, now I can connect in first or second attempt :)

I finally managed to do nice AAR in the Hornet... after 1h I wanted to throw the joystick through the window, after 1:30h I managed to refuel in 5 reconnects (distance flown at 300kt at FL100 - 115nm :D) and after 2h I managed to refuel from KC130 in one go and didn't shoot him down afterwards :) I'm using a somewhat bad TM Hotas X (50€) and I had to set up curves for X and Y axis - 15 did the trick. No curve for the throttle. Did not use AP/trim, just flying by hand. Throttle control in fact I find more challenging - it felt like human FBW, more than 1 throttle adjustment a second... Out of A10C, Mirage and the Hornet I find the last one the easiest for AAR, I had biggest trouble with Mirage.

No, I have a "normal" version of W7 installed. No useless Acer software. Game is using 7670. Using k10stat I overclocked CPU to 2500MHz on all cores - performance boost is noticeable - BFBC2 is smooth on med/high, Cinebench multi-thread performance (something around 2.95pts) comparable to i5-3210M. Of course single-thread performance about 30-40% lower.

I am running DCS:W on notebook equiped with an A6-3420M CPU overcloked to 2.5GHz and an AMD 7670M. The problem is, I get 15fps on lowest settings :( Is there a way to make it smooth on this notebook?

http://superuser.com/questions/491815/new-drivers-now-switchable-graphics-wont-work Now I'm gonna try newest 12.11 beta. If they don't work, I'll revert to 12.8. //12.8 are fine, I can finlly play... to be honest I didn't expect the game to be still laggy on lowest details :( CPU overclocked to 2.5GHz.

Hmm, I changed DCS to low-performance, and it is alright on integrated card :o But the performance is innaceptable... maybe I'll try to swap drivers. 7670M is ok because I have no problems in other games, only DCS.

There is no mipmap setting in high-performance section. However, I chose high quality for low-performance.

Hi; I have a problem with DCS World on my notebook. Immendiately after I start multiplayer, resolution "drops". It is so low that I can barely read text! After mission is loaded it is still low. I have no idea what's the problem, Left 4 Dead 2, BFBC2 and other games are working perfectly fine. Specs: Acer Aspire 5560G A6-3420M AMD 7670M 4 GB RAM W7 Home Premium x64 Screen attached. AMD Dual Graphics disabled (stuttering)

Can I expect any improvements on a 7670M?

Yesterday I saw on MP someone getting killed by his own Maverick :) My biggest fail? Hmm, once I had too hard landing which blew all my tires. I started wheel breaking, plane turned 90 degrees, went off runway and crashed directly into a Humvee, and I got kicked for AI teamkill. Hilarious.

New user - which aircraft would you buy?
Skymad replied to Horrgakx's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Hmm, Mustang doesn't have fancy avionics, so I think it is easier than A-10C. Definitely DON'T choose Ka-50 for your first aircraft, or you will suffer :) I'd say Mustang or the Hog. -
How much fuel you had left? Any weapons? Try landing at 130 knots with speed brakes open and full flaps, wheel brakes at 100 knots.

Some details of FC3 AFM Missile Improvements
Skymad replied to Wags's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs 3
So missiles' speed won't be "locked" at maximum anymore? It'll work like in Falcon 4 BMS? -

I think it's problem on their side, since we all have this issue.
