  1. Got it. (Sadly-- almost unbelievable that there is no publisher for the best flightsim ever in the west) But what about alternative payment?
  2. I have already posted a question about alternative ways of payment nearly a month ago: PayPal is still not available in a lot of countries, what alternative payment will be available for us (in Hungary for example)? 2. Someone from ED (or close) said that distribution of physical copies is impossible due to lack of resources. When stating this, you may have thought about beautifully printed, colour boxes, labelled cds and manuals, which can really cost a lot. But what about writing the software on simple, unlabelled CDs, putting them to simple envelopes and sending them via postal service? I know it sounds unprofessional, but it is simple and sensible. Most of us could do perfectly without printed boxes, especially when it is the only way.
  3. One more thing (especially to Stormin): When you react on our comments or disappointment, think about what is FAIR and not what is legal. They are miles apart. You are a lot more intelligent person than to quote EULAs. Nobody reads EULAs. Why? Because they are nothing else but a bunch of excuses and a few promises which are usually broken. If the legal use of a piece of software is more complicated than the illegal use of it, fewer people will buy it. Isn't it simple? When I pay for a game, I do not want to be dependent on any further communication with the publisher. What if I temporarily move to another place with a different machine with no broadband connection? Am I not entitled to play the game then? I still hope ED will offer another, fairer solution.
  4. [quote= The actions of a few (piracy) are going to affect the many whether we like it or not - that's life. As such . . . . . either put up, or shut up. Don't jump off the level of your self-confidence to that of your style and IQ. You may get hurt. There is really no point in writing insulting comments like this. Especially not when you are talking to someone disappointed. We are fans of the game as much as you are.
  5. It was really not a very wise decision from ED, to say the least. 1. 99% of LOMAC fans are eager to show their support and therefore would buy the game even if it was not protected at all. This kind of aggressive copy-protection is completely unnecessary. 2. It simply violates my consumer rights as well. If I buy a game and want to use it on my own single machine, nobody will tell me how frequently I am allowed to upgrade my rig. If this kind of "protection" is legal, shame on those who make laws. Anyway, I think ED will only lose money on this. And believe me, when the game comes out, it will be cracked in less than a month. I am really sorry.
  6. For me, download is OK. What is important is the way of payment. PayPal is still not available in a lot of countries, including mine (Hungary). Any kind of banking or mailing order would be appreciated.
  7. I am from Hungary, which is among the very few countries in Europe where Paypal services are not available. I don't own a credit card and am not going to get one either. My question is -- will the new add-on be available via any other kind of banking or mailing order? I would really love to buy it as soon as it comes out. There must be some alternative solution, maybe too easy to think about it. Could anyone help?
