  1. So, I'm not sure what the H is going on. First of all, this problem ONLY exists in DCS. IL2, MSFS and other random shows like Apollo 11 VR experience all work with no issues at all. In DCS, however, the view point bounces around like crazy, especially if looking right and down. Some flights are better than others, and some are without issues at all. As an example, flying the F16, looking to the left, up and down is fine. I can lean into the MFD on the left to look closely at something...no issues. If I look even a little right of the HUD the viewpoint stutters and starts moving around. It gets so unstable that I can't see clearly or click a button. If I continue to look further right, e.g. at the stick...the view goes completely nuts and will jump around all over the place, then grey out and slowly fade back in. When it comes back its more often than not outside the aircraft completely...and slowly slides back into the cockpit. If, however, I lean to the left in the cockpit, so my head is left of centerline, I can then look right and down and use the right side console. But leaning back center again will cause the problem to reappear. Then, having changed nothing, the next flight in the same aircraft the VR might be working absolutely perfectly. I initially thought it was an issue with the HTC setup, sensors etc. But every other program works fine. Any clues? The game is pretty much unplayable as it stands. Thanks, Ken
  2. Hi, Long time listener, first time caller. Been flying DCS and other flight sims for umpteen years, but I just started experimenting with VR, and I'm running into some performance issues. So I've decided to upgrade, but being a novice PC hardware guy I don't know where to start and what would help. My current setup, built many moons ago and upgraded sporadically: ASUS Strix Z270F Gaming i7-7700k @ 4.20Ghz 32Gb RAM @ 2666Mhz Nvidia RTX 3070 Samsung 850 EVO SSD HTV Vive Pro 2 Hotas Warthog My questions: Is this a decent rig for DCS? What upgrades would benefit VR gaming most? CPU? RAM? Should the DCS installation be on a completely separate SSD? or with Win10? Is it worth buying the i9-10900k? or wait for the next generation CPU? Thanks a lot for looking and responding! Ken
