  1. Thanks for taking the time to go over my reply and encouraging me to report it. However, I don't plan on doing so until other issues with NTTR (that aren't game breaking) start being addressed. Also, there is not a need for me to report it as it already has been by another user. I mentioned it because i'd like to be more involved in the forums - I apologize for my mindset regarding this coming across as 'weird'. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/278872-hornet-facing-in-mission-editor-start-from-parking-spot/
  2. I'd love to but there's no point - as said in this topic it won't be addressed as it is not a game-breaking issue. Oh well!
  3. I agree. It's also a problem that, in certain parking slots at Nellis, planes are initially facing the wrong way.
  4. Since 2020, the 457th vFS has been training and testing its DCS F-16 pilots to be efficient and daring. The 457th, also known as the "Spads", offer courses that will turn the most amateur F-16 pilot into the best there is. On top of that, pilots have the opportunity to take courses in order to learn and become better at: acting as an aggressor (in the F-18 and/or F-5), leading a 2/4 ship flight, being a Mission Commander, and much more! For example, the 457th and what it offers has helped me become a better pilot as I now know how to communicate over radio during missions, and has given me an opportunity to better my photography skills. The squadrons requirements are very simple, and so is the process for becoming a Spad. Pilots do not have to be in certain timezones, but as a heads up, a majority of pilots are located within timezones involving the US. The one thing that separates the 457th from an average DCS squadron is the activity requirements. Pilots can attend any event they can show up to and are not required to show up to a certain amount of events in a certain time span. As a result, pilots can host and join impromptu flights / missions. Large-scale events consisting of training or combat missions are also held, sometimes with other squadrons. 5. Recently my openbeta steam DCS has been stuttering a bunch and microlagging, which wasn't a problem a month ago. I suspect it could be cause of the recent hotfix and it messed up my DCS a bit, but I am not experienced with computers so I wouldn't know if it was something wrong with my computer or something with DCS. Has anyone else noticed this?
  6. Hi, i'm looking for a F-16 squadron. I know how to do everything in the F-16 (A-A,A-G) and I have Persian Gulf. I have experience in: leadership, mission editor, and media. I'm in MST (UTC-7). I am available on the weekends for the most part and 8-10pm on weekdays.
  7. I've seen how to change a lot of things to make your DCS unique (loading screen, module icons, etc.), and I was wondering if you could change the way the loading bar looks?
  8. Ah, that makes sense! Thanks for the explanation
  9. In order to clean up my DCS folder a little (When I started installing mods I had very little idea of what I was doing, so I didn't save an original copy of everything), I uninstalled DCS Steam and deleted the Saved Games DCS folder. Then I reinstalled DCS Steam, and there was no Bazar folder. As far as I know the Bazar folder has a important .lua file in it. Is the Bazar folder something that does not come with a fresh copy of DCS?
  10. I'm not super good with messing with AI in ME...I haven't been able to figure out if I can get a UH-60A or an AH-64D to attack something, the UH-60A with its gunners and the AH-64D with its cannon. Does anyone know how I can get them to do that?
  11. I've done a bit of digging in the user files section of ED's website, and these forums, yet I find practically nothing about the MRAP...what's the reason there is no MRAP in DCS yet? It would be awesome if there was.
  12. Does anyone know of any mods that add decorations, such as equipment in an airfield or military outpost, that work with 2.7? I have done some research and have downloaded mods like this but I am just wondering if people use and/or have 'decorative' mods that I am not aware of. A good example of what I mean by 'decorative' mod is SUNTSAG's "NATO Personnel and Items". Really anything that would add realistic detail to the game.
