  1. You are correct that of course everyone has it's own preference in how strong the motors should be. It's always good to have alternatives. People should start using the dial first (keeping in mind that at least for SSA you have to reconnect the seat after every change in the dial) and if that's not enough they can use a lower voltage power supply.
  2. I could not get this to work with the English version and was reluctant to install a version which I could not read I have tried it conform the manual/pictures you referred to and this indeed works much better. The trick is that you have to reconnect the jetseat (using the button in the control panel) on every change of the dial. Otherwise the SSA control panel doesn't seem to pick it up. Once you know that, the dial works fine. And it seems that turning it down to minimum also turns down the motors enough. So there is no need for a power supply with a lower voltage. I hope other people read this so they don't buy a lower voltage power supply for this as I have
  3. I have tried a lower voltage. Unfortunately I don't have variable voltage (yet) but some fixed ones. 7.5 volts seems to low, there is hardly anything happening then. 9 volts is much better (perhaps a bit too strong). Anyway it feels much better now than the original 12 volts. Perhaps the sweet spot, for me, will be around 8-8.5 volts. Have to try it out with a variable regulator after I have bought one
  4. Sorry to post in the DCS forum, but it is the only topic I could find :( Does anyone know if there is some site or guide available for seting up Simshaker for aviators and the Simshaker Jetpad together with p3d (v5)? I have recently bought the Simshaker Jetpad from Andre's shop and I must say that the experience is quite frankly underwhelming. When I load the aircraft I use (A2A 172) and taxi or fly the vibrations I get are quite strong and seem only to go on and off. I played around with the control panel and the settings but nothing seems to change this behaviour. Most effects seem on or off and nothing in between. With the default 50 (for most settings) I am almost shaking out of my seat and when I try to lower it to as low as 5 then the effect turns off altogether. So it is either on and strong or off. I'm sure this can't be right. Since there are so many positive reviews around (based on which I bought the Jetpad) I am sure it must have something to do with wrong configuration or settings and such. So I was hoping that someone can shed some light to this problem and perhaps share some settings for p3d? Peter
