So are these update files deleted after the update or are they in a temp folder somewhere and cleared afterwards? I'm getting low on SSD space myself. I have already Linked tons of stuff to D drive to save space on the ssd.

Look into link shell extension. It works fine that way. Just do a google search for moving a game to an SSD using link shell extension. Pretty simple.

I'm hoping someone releases an updated working version with a keyboard .diff.lua so I can fly again. I tried another profile I found in user files and I was lost. Muscle memory wont let me use a diff profile.

Ya tried that after it didn.t work the first time. Will see if the dload completes this time. Update...Its installed now and working now to get some airtime!

I dont have any problem with any other programs/games on my pc. How else properly would you like me to install it than the default folders? I am the admin of the PC and run as admin makes no difference. UAC is also disabled. The update failed with error server overloaded and now I'm back to square 1. Updating again by copying the temp folder updater.exe over to the default install directory/bin folder.

That just stops the update process. Thx for trying though. Somehow tinkering and copying over the new updater.exe I got it to start updating...I Think! Will report back.

I cant get it to run I get this. Seems I never can get this to update I have problems every release. Because I have my temp folder moved to D drive with a link source to save on SSD writes I believe is the problem.

I take it you cant install this with JGSME mod tool?

Asrock is no longer low end. My asrock board p67 extreme4 is rocking a 5ghz overclock as I type this.

Yup That did the trick I loaded the wrong default lua from an old backup I made in 2012 lol.

Peter I cant seem to get the f15C to notice the inputs. a10c works with the right cntrl and arrows and all other planes work with [ and ] . I dont see the kneeboard listed in controls in the f15C. Anything you can help me with? I even cleared the keyboard controls and put in the original .lua for keyboard. Thanks

This mission works the same in 1.2.5 I get the same results as 1.2.4.

Thanks for this mod Peter this and your HDR mod have re ignited my fire to fly again.

Also if you ran the 1.2.5 update you lost all of your tweaks and will have to re-apply them. Sorry its the nature of the beast.

I've been playing all day. Single player mind you and instant action missions to get my feel back. But its running fine on my rig and its less of a beast than yours but is overclocked. 2600k at 4.8ghz 560ti's in SLI 3gb versions 8gb sub par ram I also play single screen at 1080p with track IR I have no need for multiple screens on a 42 inch 120hz hdtv. Edit... After another looks it seems your 7850 performs about the same as 1 560ti. I think this might be your problem.

Even on the runway it is obvious something has changed its a lighter green hud and the sky is brighter blue. Look at the sky in both pics?

That doesnt help they've done something in the graphics engine to change the color of the horizon in the last few updates. I usually use night mode for the hud but its hard to see when pointing at the ground in some situations.

Thanks for the speedy reply coff. That got me to be able to run 1.25 without the hotfix but ran into another problem when updating the hotfix. "DCS autorun .exe access denied" So I completely shut off the antivirus instead of disabling it and rebooted my pc. That allowed me to install the hotfix. Now its working. Thanks again.
