  1. I have been getting this on otherwise normally stable servers. Seems fairly random, sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes aircraft hanging in the air for like a minute
  2. I tried but you can only make offset for Steerpoints and Target points, not Markpoints. I was wondering same thing as OP (i geuss I have been spoiled using the AV8B)
  3. I think MBTs and other mechanised vehicles launching smoke should be part of any AI logic rework for ground units if they are considering this; to make it more interesting for say, new helicopter modules, being released. It could take work but would be cool if behaviour was a bit more dynamic than the seemingly current logic of scatter, stay in one place for 2 mins, then carry on as nothing happened.
  4. Is there a way in mission editor scrips to create a skip time (e.g. +12 hr); this is more for movie than mission purposes. Thanks in advance
  5. Hi all, Not sure if this has been asked already or able to implement with current unit selection interface. It is of course very annoying if you get disconnected and then have to re-join and do a cold start from the ground - and being 25 mins behind your flight lead. This goes to a core issue of lost connection on multiplayer servers. However i think there is a relatively easy solution to a sub-set of servers. How about giving option in mission editor "AI takes control" of any disconnected aircraft. This could be for a set time e.g. max 5 mins whereby the AI adopts a holding pattern around current position or next WP. Then you can re-join server and when you select the plane you got disconnected from its flying around where you left it. By making it an option in mission editor then it wouldn't affect PVP servers...and if your worried about a random stealing your plan then be quick or add a password to your server. If no person jumps in after 5 mins the plane can de-spawn. Or if you want to reset, someone just joins the plane then returns to spectators.
  6. Just did a quick test, Laser does not safe now when TPOD slewed; other pre laser firing conditions appear to be working as intended Thank-you for swift resolution.
  7. I started a post before seeing this...but i think it is still a problem. If you touch the slew button AT ALL it renders safe. Hope this can be reviewed and fixed, or tell us that this is how it is meant to work. Shooting anything moving, even in active pause, anywhere other than a runway is now effectively impossible... the point track (or MT if this works?) is not going to be perfect. So if you lose the target and need to move the slew button even slightly to reaquire, then laser turns off of, so you need to un-safe and fire again...this does not seem intuitive.... It also appears that if you need to turn momentarily and it tries to re-aquire, even if successful, it also renders safe; maybe this is because INS is making it re-aquire and it resets the logic. Thanks in advance.
  8. Thanks Zildac, I think the fundamental problem is that if you touch the slew button at all it renders safe. Hope this can be reviewed and fixed, or tell us that this is how it is meant to work. Razbam, hry tracking a moving target, even in active pause, anywhere other than a runway... the point (or MT if this works?) is not going to be perfect. 9. Is it just me or since most recent update does the laser seem to switch off/return safe seemingly the slightest movement. What is the laser to safe logic? Currently almost impossible to do any track of moving targets without buddy lase. And if not moving have to fly pretty much straight perfect line and hope no Manpads. Am i missing something, or is this intended?
