  1. Whoever designed this mission is a major jerk. You have to be perfect to complete it successfully. You need to add more time. I have flown this mission about 35 times now, and can never get back to the FARP fast enough. I've gotten it down to being about twenty seconds out, but can't get there in time. I do a hot start, take off IMMEDIATELY, I'm right on the edge of the EGT limit getting up there, and I'm exceeding 110 kts the whole way down, fighting RBS all the while. Please change this mission so that it's not limited to only perfect pilots. I'm still learning and this is extremely frustrating. I can't wait for MSFS to come out with helicopters so I can stop playing this crap. It's especially bad because when I fail, I have to do the whole bloody mission over again, how do you not have the ability to save mid-flight? Tracks are worthless because you can't finish the mission. Apparently there are engine limitations that prevent this. Why did you develop an engine for a sim that has multi-hour missions and not make sure there's a save feature. I regret all the money I've spent on your garbage.
  2. Is it possible to navigate to a VOR in the A-10CII? I've managed to tune my VHF AM to the correct VOR frequency (117.100 for Mineralnye Vody) but I can't get anything to affect the HSI.
  3. I was just thinking of some things I found frustrating in DCS and would be nice to have in a future update. I am a relatively new player, so I thought I'd provide my possibly unique point of view (I apologize if some or all of these have already been addressed): 1. The ability to navigate steps in training missions (skip this step, go back to previous step, mute instructor so I can read the text and get through it faster etc.) I often find myself screwing something up and having to restart the entire mission, then increase the sim rate and go through the same steps many times. 2. Having a 'Restart' option instead of just quit in the escape menu. This may be unnecessary if #1 is implemented. 3. Being able to assign axis controls to everything. As an example, I would like to use one of the mini-sticks on my X-56 to move the view, so I can free up my POV hat to be used as the DMS in the A-10C. 4. Create a standard nomenclature for controls (the F-16 says LG retract instead of landing gear retract, which makes it difficult to find when searching). 5. Revamp the mission editor to make it more intuitive. It can be a little intimidating. For example, I couldn't figure out how to get a tanker to transmit a TACAN frequency. 6. Fix the A-10 hud so all the information can be seen (my waypoint data block is mostly cut-off and the symbology is far too dim, it's nearly impossible to see, even at max intensity, against a pale background).
