  1. Be sure you have un-checked the box in the game profile and in the genelar profile, i have noticed that the game profile settings does not overly this setting over the general forces panel.Check that your axis settings in the game profile are by defaul, i iarc sensivity 50% and the dead zone 0, max 0, ... i cant remember now. Dont follow instructions in the firt post in this tread , those are before patches and g940 firmware. Use 100 in all force settings and play eith 50% +- trim formce inside game. Good luky, it works perfect for me.
  2. i have noticed this too when the weather is overcast. If i move the camera (in external view) i see the blur effect going on/off, but the problem is that this change at very low distance over the ground and far from cloud like i think its suposed to work. Other problem is that there are nof a fade efect, its on /off blur, so tis hard and you have the sense that there are not HDR working. I would like to edit these effects too, but the most important things are under the hdr.fx and there are lot of code to change and i cant understand. The easy parameters are in the hdr.lua. I have noticed too that the HDR.lua its the same for beta 4 than final, the thins that changues are in the fx one. It would be cool than ED give us diferent configurations so we can use as we want. PD: i didnt liked the beta hdr, too much blurry for me, but i dont like the final HRD , too much wet or aseptic.

  5. I hope than some day the terrain engine its updated in the whole dcs series, but i understand that its a titanic work.Thx for the answers.
  6. The future of the terrain engine. I allways thought the DCS products are stuck in a old terrain engine that works enought well but its a bit limited for recent flightsims standarts, specially with a very limited number of polygons used for ground. So i see very interesting this info i readed today in a DCS´memeber interview. "Jim Mackonochie: We are currently working on a Nevada map that will be centered on Nellis AFB. This map is designed to be used for training missions and virtual "Red Flag" exercises. This map will be the first map to utilize our new graphics engine. The map will be released as part of an Upgrade Pack later in 2011." Could someone give more information about that, pls? What "new graphic engine means?", its going to focus in the landscape? its going to affect clouds too? Will the others map benefits from it? Its going to coexist with the old engine, depending on the map? Thx and sorry for my english.
