*** AI J-35 Draken AI coming to DCS World!! ***
rainyday replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Hey, we had a cool scheme too! -
Yeah, this is exactly the issue. It's really cumbersome to use with the mouse and binding keys to it does not work as intended. To add rudel_chw's comments, Manual frequency UP moves the frequency up, but just a little and then it gets stuck. If you use Manual Frequency DOWN after that (which moves it up, as it's reversed for some reason), then Manual frequency UP works again but just a tiny bit before it gets stuck. So to sum up: ADF Manual Frequency DOWN - keyboard/HOTAS binding - frequency goes UP ADF Manual Frequency UP - keyboard/HOTAS binding - frequency goes UP just a tiny bit and then gets stuck Really hoping for a fix for this - it's really putting me off even completing the tutorials...

I'm pretty sure that it used to have up/down commands - but it seems they have now been replaced with direct commands for each settings. While I prefer it this way - best option would have both choices available.

Been away from the game for a while now - but getting back in the air slowly. Nice to see MiG-19 had some updates since the launch to the buttons, but it seems there are still some keybindings missing. I'm still re-learning the basics but the ones missing that I've noticed so far: Left Engine Start Right Engine Start Left Engine Air Start ON Left Engine Air Start OFF Right Engine Air Start ON Right Engine Air Start OFF

Me! I mean come on - who woudn't want a fighter that had one of the highest (if not the highest) kill/death ratios of WW2 ? :pilotfly:

Duplicated red lines in control mapping
rainyday replied to Kiwispirits's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yeah - same thing here. Also few other issues with missing keybindings: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=220208 But now that F-14 Tomcat is out, maybe it finally means that Viggen is back on the menu :) -
Awesome :) Good sounds really add immersion and are really important giving feedback for the pilot, as we are missing the actual 'feel'. Lähetetty minun EVA-L09 laitteesta Tapatalkilla

Give 'em some time - it's like two weeks from release... Lähetetty minun EVA-L09 laitteesta Tapatalkilla

Yeah - there are a few missing keybindings... https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3820474&postcount=14 But Razbam is aware - I'm sure they will be sorted out :)

Duplicates in my keyboard setup in the Viggen
rainyday replied to DarkStar79's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
I also have it - and I think it's a bug. I noticed the duplicates became 'visible' and orange since a recent patch. But many/all have already been there before. For example, 'Autothrottle Mode AFK' always had a duplicate but they didn't show on the same list. The other binding was showing on the 'ALL' keybdindings category, and the other one in the 'AUTOPILOT' category. And atleast previously the other one was functioning okay - while the other would only disconnected AFK. Also, some of the duplicates are in the different categories - for example the lights. There are overlapping keybinding in the 'LIGHTS' category and in the 'LIGHTS PANEL' category - but the thing is, only one of those overlapping bindings actually work. -
Looking forwards to the FM improvements. It is really rewarding to fly a plane and learn it's 'happy place', when to push - and when to stop pushing or it will bite back. BUt I feel like MiG-19 is not quite there yet - feels a bit like beast that has been tamed. Glad to see all the dangerous stuff, quirks and other real plane issues is looked into to make the plane really 'come alive'.
-
Yeah, absolutely need that. You can cut corners but make a module more 'user friendly' - but then again, things like this and soon we have 'Auto-start' where we just press one button and the plane magically starts. Oh, wait... But seriously - landing gear should work like in the real thing, I don't want buttons and switches flippin' themselves :)
-
Sorry - I just noticed you said trigger. I thought you meant toggle switches. But in any case - have you noticed there's also a keybinding for "T1 Fix (Two Stage Trigger Middle Position)"? Atleast it sounds like it's just what you are looking for.
