the parts could be done also in metal?
-

Hi to all I'm a pround owner and user of Hotas Cougar. Time and use, however, mean that it requires maintenance, specially on parts like brake pad and bearings that produce the sticktion. Firts of all, I change the grease with an NLGI 3 grease (silicon synth based) available in europe (Nyogel 767a is hard to find with high cost); I suggest OKS 1110, a product Made in Germany and easy available in EU. But despite the greasing, sticktion continue. The issue was the bearings; those two rings, plastic on plastic, are a worse choiste for hold a moving axis. Following a online old tutorial about it (cougarfoxy) I've applied tu small picese of alufoil between bearing and axis, putting some OKS 1110 grease also. Same trick on friction pad: little alufoil on pad and a glossy tape on axis, also with grease in the middle. Result a smooth throttle, but I wuold change glossy tape with ptfe tape in future. By the way, my question is the following: the bearing are a very weak and cheap part of this throttle; possible that no-one produce an aftermarket compatible bearing? I find on web a lot of slim/thin bearing (also with carbon). Bearings mod is also a thing you can do in other product, like TWCS. Anyone know if can do similar mod on Cougar of have data information for try this experiment?

then if you suffer a tank wing hit the plane is gone?
-
yes I read about it, but I want to know if the switch (in the real world) can save fuel shutting of section of tanks
-
Hello. Every time after taking damage over wing, the fuel leak drain all fuel and I have to eject. I would like to know if, using fuel management switch, I can isolate damaged tanks to stop fuel leak and save the fuel of the intact tanks. For example, I taking damage with leak on left wings; switching to FWD (F/R priority) I also exclude A/L line shutting of it and limiting fuel loss only to A/L line? thank you!

wait...is normal that with last patch seem that autotrim is gone? CATIII seem like CATI and the plane is really unstable :(...that's normal??

maybe the "test" are us..... Inviato dal mio SM-A405FN utilizzando Tapatalk -
I think you can do it programming a sort of auto-loop for the button you assing to lasing (for example for Saitek using the external software that can do it, if you have a Saitek obviously)

RUK Mode HARM firing solution without a Steerpoint?
- Sonic - replied to - Sonic -'s topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
maybe you can copy the TGP coord in A-G mode (no HARM) and after enter a steerpoint for use HARM mode? But I think to do it you have also to load somethings like jdam or bombs -
Hello. Thats' my question: I want tro try to fire HARM using the DTC Sam Circle displayed on HSD. It's will be a "estimated position" and RUK mode is what we need for this. Unfortunately we don't know a coordinates for create a Steerpoint to use for this purpose . I know that a HSD Cursor is WIP, then we can use this tool. How I can do to estimate the position in coord. DMS to make a firing solution for the HARM?? My idea is to use for example the TGP; place the TGP cursor of HSD over the center of Sam yellow circle and read the coord. indicated by TGP on MFD. All this remaing out of the Sam range. is this way reliable in your opinion? Tks!
