You try wearing Multicam as a British Soldier then

    Pilot Camo

The UK does not use Multicam, it uses MTP which is derivative of Multicam in that the old DPM patterns were used. Same shades, different patterns.
  3. Because not all operators of Apache, carry M-4’s in the pit. UK for one.
  4. Having wasted a lot of time on various servers and on my own training missions dropping JSOW. I have come to the opinion that the JSOW does not contain any bomblets whatsoever. It has instead after pressure from various peace organisations, been filled with marshmallows. Any damage inflicted on the enemy is either a result of the JSOW casing actually accidentally falling on something or the enemy troops going into a diabetic coma from eating too many marshmallows...
  5. Nope, but those extra people could be used to progress other things on the Viper. As said before, some early access pigs are more equal than others..... Yes we understand that its early access and when the Horner (also in early access) is complete, attention will shift, and that particular gem is trotted out on a regular basis, but the shift to the pro-Hornet focus was made after the Viper was released for early access purchase. That was not a particularly great move for the module and with the obvious focus on yet more products A-10 upgrade, Hind, Apache, etc. it does not provide parity or confidence in the development decision making process, for those of us who purchased the module in the sensible assumption that it would progress at the same pace as the Hornet, but with that initial delta lag of course remaining sort of constant. Yes, its a business, yes its a balancing act for ED, but no, its not been a great rollout process. I also note that previous comments/threads regarding this have been removed, along with likes. Funny that.
  6. I see the request for a Viper roadmap has also been removed.
  7. Important fix that. Stops me bleeding speed off too slowly when manoeuvring to pickle that pretend JDAM... Bear in from the list of changes post that the Mavericks were also expected in the April, showing that progress is in fact even worse. But it also clearly shows that whilst platitudes of picking up when the Hornet is finished are trotted out regularly, with the Hornet grinding ever onwards, the delta between the pair extends even further. There is early access such as the Hornet with a steady stream of updates and additions and there is the Viper early access. Whilst it has been clearly acknowledged by the team in various video interviews that it has been sub optimal and below their expectations, nothing actually really changes apart from slightly indignant posts telling us forgetful people that it is of course early access and we knew that and when the Hornet is finished etc...... I like the Viper, fly it the most often of the modules, but not holding my breath for major update anytime soon for the ginger stepchild of the DCS eco system
  8. Heard that one far too many times....
  9. Happy with the bug fixes and stability and I'm a relative newcomer to the Viper having really got into it over the last couple of months. However from sweeping back through the updates - Apart from bug fixes or corrections in systems behaviour and visual items such as canopy tint or bort numbers. From what I can find (and I'm happy to be corrected) for new functionality implemented since the beginning of this year: 14 Feb: 1. Added EEGS Level 5 gunsight and improved EEGS Level 2 - WIP (Dogfight HUD will come a bit later) 2. Added ILS declutter option by pressing the Cage/Uncage HOG button 20 Mar: FCR AA Declutter toggles by short depressing COMM Sw inboard for less than 0.5 sec 03 Jun: Added ability to create new waypoints. Hopefully the next update will actually add something more. I don't think its feeling the love at the moment and can see why people are annoyed.
  10. Excellent campaign! More of the same please, its challenging! The only issue I have found is that the easy engine start does not like the freezing temps and cuts out after the Starboard engine has started. Looks to be a bug with the Aircraft as I have found it in my own mini missions.
  11. Hi, Being lazy and trying an auto start, both in Sedlo's excellent Georgian Campaign and in my own missions I am finding that the Easy Start does not like temperatures below freezing. It moves through the process, starts the APU and then starts the right engine. A message then appears briefly saying that engine parameters have been exceeded and the left engine start aborts. I have tried adding extra throttle etc, but no changes to the experienced behaviour. Has anyone else had this?
  12. Still having this issue even after updating to the newest build. Anyone else?
  13. I've mapped the elevator trim to the TMS hat on my warthog stick. Firstly, trim up and down seem to be reversed. Secondly, as soon as I use the hat to alter trim, it keeps on feeding in more and more trim until it reaches the control surface limit. For example, one click of up trim and it stays in the trim up position, one click of the down trim and it stays in the trim down. There is no return of the hat on the VC joystick to neutral. Anyone else have this issue? It affects both DCS 1.5 and 2.
  14. I've managed to neutralise the SAM's, AA, Troops and APCs and stop the T72's. As well as call the F-15's in to get rid of the SU-25's. The UH-60's are then able to go to the pilots location without any issues. The pilot moves down the slope for a pick up. However, the UH-60's will not land and pick up the pilot, it looks like because he remains on a slight slope, they cannot land there. They just hover, move off, retry, hover, mover off, retry ad infinitum until what looks like a fuel shortage causes them to break off and RTB. Apart from that, it all works out fine, its an interesting one. :megalol:
