  1. Amazing work as usual. Thanks a lot!
  2. Thanks again! #7 is up. The video titles now contain a short description of the contents if you are looking for something specific.
  3. #5 is up. Be warned that the pace slows down from here. I will roll out some more structured "how to" videos soon as part of the On the Range series but first I have to figure out how things work. If you have a love of aircraft and aircraft systems and want to see somebody experiment and tinker then these next few videos are for you. :)
  4. Thanks SgtPappy. :) That is indeed TACVIEW: http://lomac.strasoftware.com/tacview-en.php
  5. Thanks again everybody. #3 is up and it includes a quick how-to for building an F-86 vs MiG-15 mission followed by a little 2 on 2 dogfight. It may be of interest to you even if you are not a fan of my long-form mission videos or deep looks at aircraft like I am doing here.
  6. This series is complete for now at video 16. I start this series with some of the more basic control set-up I usually leave out but will get right into a/a and a/g employment in video 2, 3, and 4. The video name has a brief description of whit is included if you are looking for something specific. Thanks for watching! Others in the series include: Test Flight - C-101EB Aviojet

    Smokey SAM

That sounds like a great idea to me! I drop the heck out of BDU-33s and BDU-50s so this sort of thing would be a great addition. I had one up and running for the Strike Fighters Range Terrain way back when and the model (.max) is attached if anybody wants it. Unfortunately, it is just the Smokey SAM itself and not the launcher... GTR-18A Smokey SAM.zip
  8. Video 5 that covers the briefing, start-up and takeoff for mission 2 is up. It has actually been up on the channel for a while... I'm cutting the rest of the mission together as we speak so they should follow over the weekend.
  9. Well, this one is wrapped up. Thanks again to everybody who checked them out. Here is a video I did on zoom views a while back. I have a Warthog and have never had any trouble with it.
  10. The first parts of the Test Flight series for the C-101EB are recorded. Videos 1 - 4 will cover start-up and shutdown, obviously going into far more detail than just reading off the steps and performing them. I am extremely impressed with the depth of the aircraft systems modelling and am having a great time exploring them while we wait for the CC version. :) I would recommend starting with the "First Look" video if you are looking for a general overview of the aircraft: The rest will follow as they are processed and uploaded. Corrections and constructive feedback are welcome! Other aircraft in the series include: Bunyap Sims Youtube Channel
  11. Ok, part 4 is up where I land and debrief the first mission. Well, I already flew mission 2 but I'll give the B-8 pods a try at some point. I won't spoil the next mission but that is the last time I make more than one pass on a target. Mbot has a devious mind. :)
  12. Hey good idea. I have been doing this for a little over a year and have well over 200 videos to choose from. Here is a link to the full channel so check it out if it looks like your sort of thing... Bunyap Sims Youtube Channel I usually post something at least every other day and they come in three varieties: 'On the Range' Tutorial Series These are 10-15 minute tutorials on whatever topic I happen to be working on at the time. They focus mainly on the A-10C but includes plenty of stuff about the F-86F, MiG-21, and general DCS topics. Here is a sample: 'Test Flight' Let's Learn Series These are in-depth looks at my own process for learning and getting the most out of DCS aircraft. I go through every system and procedure drawing on info from the DCS manual and real world manuals where available. These are not exactly tutorials because I am figuring stuff out as I go and they are not exactly reviews because I wouldn't be spending so much time on it if I didn't recommend buying it in the first place. Here is a sample: Full Mission and Campaign Fly-throughs These are full, no holds barred, fly-throughs of missions and campaigns will full commentary provided throughout. No music, no "epic fails", just planning, execution, and debrief of the mission drawing on every bit of knowledge I have (such as it is sometimes!). Here are the two series that are in progress as I post this: Feedback and constructive criticism is always welcome!
  13. Part 3 is up... Thanks for the advice! It really holds up well so far. I can tell a lot of work went into it and I hope I can do it justice.
  14. Great write-up! Agreed on every point. Bunyap Sims Youtube Channel
  15. No, thank you! Money well spent... Bunyap Sims Youtube Channel
  16. Very nice looking layout! Thanks for putting this together.
  17. This is the Cold War Warrior campaign flown from beginning to end in my usual way, with somewhat of a plan and commentary provided throughout. Tacview is used to display an overlay of the current situation in the top right corner and is used to provide a debrief at the end of the series. I am still experimenting with the format so let me know what you think. Tacview Software: http://tacview.strasoftware.com The rest will follow as they are processed and uploaded. In the meantime, you can find a lot more here:
