  1. I could see this being very handy in the A-10C. For those times when you set your AP to orbit a WP and go heads down in the MFCD's.
  2. Learn to touch type. ;) Seriously, that has been a huge advantage for me when using the Rift or playing in a dark room.
  3. That did the trick. A little low-level zigzagging and I was finally able to get my a$$ home. Thanks! The variety and surprises in this campaign really makes each mission satisfying. :)
  4. In other words, I need to buy a round for the F-16 pilots before I try this sortie again. ;)
  5. Hope this is the right mission, #8. After downing the tanker, how do you escape the MiG-21? That thing is fast!!
  6. Sorry, I totally missed that. I've installed the sound module but now every time I select my card from the Settings tab it restarts and the option goes blank again. 17:8:11.701 NaudioPlaybackEngine: could not initialize playback device.Exception from HRESULT: 0x88890008 I just discovered that it will let me select my sound card if I choose 2 (Stereo) under Max. Channels. However, I only have one ButtKicker so need to use 1(mono). With Mono selected, I can select SPDIF-Out or Oculus Rift audio, but it won't let me choose speaker output from my sound card.
  7. Sure, I've downloaded and installed 1.1.0.2 again. When I start SimShaker for Aviators, it runs minimized without issue. Then I right-click on the tray icon and select Start Simshaker for Aviators. You can see from the attached screenshot that USB output is the only option available. The Sound option is disabled with the message that "No Sound Module Installation Found".
  8. I reverted back to 1.0.0.39 and the problem went away. 1.1.0.2 is the version that was giving me trouble. I tried the fixed proposed earlier by running the version in the Apps 2.0 folder but it didn't solve the issue.
  9. It's broken for me too. Buttkicker option is greyed out and it says no Sound Module installation found. What happened?!
  10. That was excellent. Very moving. :(
  11. Don't need much from CV2, I'd be happy just to have a slightly higher resolution headset. There's no getting off the VR train now! :D
  12. I didn't wait as long as that but I"m also very glad I decided to go with Gunfighter. Got the KG12 and looking forward to the MCG Pro in the near future. :D
  13. Whether are not oculus touch is your preferred input method... The left mouse click function in Touch is pretty useless if right mouse click doesn't work. If 9 out of 10 switches in my startup procedure require a left mouse click, and 1 one requires a right mouse click then I'm not going to use touch at all.
  14. This is great, I've been excited for a Falklands air war sim since Jet Thunder was announced. Sadly, that project did not come to fruition so I'm glad there will be another chance to visit the virtual South Atlantic!
  15. Now that 2.5 is released, has the issue with the F-4E been resolved? I'm about to start the campaign but don't want to be frustrated. ;)
  16. Bridges at Toko-Ri, what a fantastic aviation movie that was! "Top Gun" had nothing on that film!
  17. I find it's much more comfortable on the eyes and things look clearer when set to 55.
  18. I managed to get past it without a random crash this time. The only difference is I didn't select the radio option to reduce number of objects for performance. Every mission after this seems to work OK.
  19. This was happening in version 2.2 so I decided to wait until 2.5 release before continuing. Now on 2.5, I've played through missions 1-7 without any issues, but mission 8 still crashes! Has anyone else experienced this? I still can't upload the log files because the limit for Zip files is 9.77 MB.
  20. LOL Too true, the most fun you can have this side of the law!
  21. Thanks, NineLine. I agree, the best we, the community can do to honor Igor's memory is to keep the passion alive, not to mention supporting ED's future projects.
