Anyone know the best place to get those drivers? I'm using an 80's series atm, anything that will get me better performance with my leadtek 6600gt is a good thing.

Hey guys, I'm a bit new to the whole touch buddy concept, can someone in the know tell me if it would be possible, albeit expensive, to build a cockpit of TFT's and have the actual instruments and switches from the game displayed on them. Ie if you had 2 17" TFT's in front of you and a 15" on each side, or a combination etc. Or would Mnemonic's program be more suited to this?

Why are you updating your altimeter at different airbases? QNH changes are not modelled, so the altimeter always reads the correct above mean sea level altitude. This makes the sim MORE noob friendly. Changing it to read 0 on the ground makes no sense dude. The altimeter is meant to read your height above sea level, not the ground.

I've had mine for 4 years, it lasted 3 years before I started to get any problems with it. The rudder is either stick twist or finger paddles on the throttle, which is what I use, very convenient. The X52 is a very good stick but like Pilotasso said you will have to do something about the spring force, its very very limp. BTW Pilotasso, I don't spose you could post some pics of what you did to your X52, I've got two mates who want to do something similar.

Hey guys Cobra was trying to run a server, he enabled 10308 and disabled his firewalls but when people join the server once they hit fly they only ever see the "waiting for server" and about a minute later they get disconnected. Anyone know what the problem is?

Fixed it, there was a spurious PCI devide in harware devices page that had an asterix. I hit reinstall driver and now it all works. What a pain in the ass.

Any help would be much appreciated. I formatted my gf's PC last night, P4 3.2 Ghz with Foxcomm 945P7AA mobo and built in soundcard. I installed all the drivers from the foxcomm driver cd, however the audio one doesnt work properly. It goes through its process and asks you to reboot however when I reboot nothing comes up and there is no sound. Trying to play mp3's or anything results in a msg of "windows media player cannot play this file as there is a problem with your sound device. It may not be installed, may be in use by another program, or may not be working properly." Going to device manager I can see the audio codecs and drivers but i can't see a soundcard. In sound and audio devices in control panel there is no audio devices listed. I have downloaded another set of drivers and have the exact same problem. Anyone got any ideas...the sound was working perfectly before?
