  1. Have a look at Matricapp https://matricapp.com/ Plenty of DCS examples there, F16, F14, F18 ready to use. Developments is on going and support is great.
  2. This is a great piece of software, really easy to setup, powerful and easy to use. if you have an Android (ver5 and above) phone or tablet lying around you can have a screen set up in about half an hour. The support is first rate and the development is ongoing. You can even try it out for FREE!
  3. Has any one any experience of the following? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Expertkeys-EK-58-programmable-keypad-keyboard/dp/B00JR496QO/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=Expertkeys+EK-58+free+programmable+58+key+USB+keypad%2Fkeyboard&qid=1560422913&s=gateway&sr=8-4 They do 3 different sizes 20, 58 and 128 key.
  4. Not sure if this has been posted before but it's new to me. Interesting video clip at the bottom of the page and right at the end a shot of a Mig-21 F13? http://theaviationist.com/2013/03/09/polish-top-gun/
  5. It's really great to see someone take a completely different approach to a cockpit system. Great ideas and workmanship Apache! Dave
  6. CodeToad what a brilliant idea. This should be a sticky, moderators. I will definitely use this. I particularly like the idea that anyone can adapt it to their own purposes just by cut and paste etc. Dave
  7. Anyone who claims they have never acted irresponsibly is surely not human.
  8. Damn fine work on that collective head Mark. Are they hand painted labels? I cant even write legibly let alone paint! Given the time and money invested in the pit do you fly anything other than the shark in it? Or do you have another masterpiece lurking in the background? Thanks for the drawing (and photos) they all help.
  9. Thanks again Mark. I'm not ready to make these yet but am trying to size everything in order to make the wall panel. I didn't want to make it only to find the guards obscured the labelling on the panel. So far I have the left and right console carcases done and a dummy main IP to work out sizes and positioning of the monitors. I have countless hours spent drawing the panels and sketches too, but you'll know about that! The switch guides (like the one fitted to VHF-TLK) - home made or purchased? Hope you don't mind me picking your brains. Dave
  10. Thanks Mark, look forward to reading your next post. Dave
  11. This is great news. It's not what I 'paid for' in the KS but once RRG blew out that was never going to happen. ED stepped in and took the project on and, yes, they are in it for the profit (no profit we do not have a sim). They also did it for us, the users, and have proved that by listening to our concerns regarding the choice of backer aircraft. Thank you ED for listening and for the compromise. The only problem now, as has been mentioned is I have to make choices. I used to be indecisive, now.....I'm not so sure.
  12. I would calmly and respectfully ask ED to reconsider the issue of duplicate aircraft keys and allow backers a choice. I already own the P-51 and do not want or need a second licence. Some backers would choose 'later' aircraft like the 262 and this would spread the 'hit' for ED. I would even be willing to pay $10 or so to help offset the costs. That way ED has my $20 P-51 licence to resell and an extra Tenner. Dave
  13. Great pictures. Thanks, really clear on this now. Must have taken an age to make 27 of these let alone the development of the idea. The finish is really good too. It looks metallic even the panel. What paint did you use? @Mike Powell Thanks for that Mike, but I'm in the UK and I can get them locally at a reasonable price. Ebay is your friend! Great books BTW Dave
