so I can't open the EDM file in 3ds max or Blender in principle? Plugin works only for export, not for import? Thanks for the answers all

I didnt export file from the 3Ds Max, i downloaded it from internet and want adjust it to the latest version 2.5.6 And used built in modelviewer... Last version DCS when this mod worked fine - 1.5.6...

Hello all. Please, help me. I have an old mod from DCS 1.5.6... And want it to work in last versions of the game. if I'm hypothetical have 3DS MAX 2017, what should I do to convert old EDM files to new versions? When i trying to open that EDM files in ingame ModelViewer2, i have an error: "wrong version of model file"...And that EDM didn't load when I started the game...thanks for the help
