  1. Same problem, and I found the solution here! (mine was the CH-53 mod) Thanks! Odd how if changes the Huey though. Before/After:
  2. I'm stuck on this mission to. I tried CCRP but the waypoint isn't really over the true target. I think I'll try getting real low and do a CCIP dive. I have already completed the campaign once before though (in the non-Type II A-10) and I vaguely remember this being tricky before...but not this hard.
  3. Serial #: 81872 (Picked up used from someone who upgraded to Virpils, came with the push-through AB detents and upgraded slew control!) Location: Vancouver, BC Canada
  4. Of course. Reboot fixed it.
  5. Just updated. Flew the Hind around fine no probs (other than the crash and burn). Then Fire up Raven One, Mission 9:
  6. I've been wondering this myself. Cannot find any real good info. My guess is it's going to be its own usb controller, with its own wire all the way back to USB A.
  7. I hope this isn't a stupid question, either way, won't be the first time. Is there anyway, now or in the future, to get this campaign for the Steam version of DCS?
  8. Same darn problem here. I guess I'll move onto a different campaign for now. I have CA so that isn't the issue.
  9. I can't wait... Just take my money now....:joystick:
  10. Ah yes. Who paints the inside of the engine nozzles  Thanks for your help!
  11. Thats a good idea! You lay this down as the main colors, Then you use the model viewer, take a screenshot, then sample the color for the right hex code?
  12. You mean the Red in the bubble? or inside the landing gear/air brake? I kinda like it Red. Reminds me of the red leather seats in the Tutors.
  13. My very first skin of my favorite bomber of all time! Special thanks to CHSubZero. I used his skin 'Fuerza Aerea Dominicana' as a starting point. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3309965/ hope you like. Took me forever to figure out. Anyone know how to open the .psb (bindary photoshop files) with Gimp?
  14. Thats what I was afraid of. I just started my own skin and I was wondering the easiest way to cross-references the DDS 2D files to the 3D model.....ugh :(
  15. Hello all, Newbie to skinning here. Attempting my second one (my first one is here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3309965/). After the recent Snowbird crash (RIP Capt. Jennifer Casey) in my Province I started working on a Snowbird skin for the F-18. Its my guess that the Tutors will be replaced with the RCAF's old Hornets as they move to whatever they pick next. Whether they can stay a 9-ship formation of they move to the Hornets is another question. Either way I wanted to attempt a Snowbird inspired skin for this bird. Its far from done. This seems to be a pain staking process. Specifically, what is the easiest way to cross-reference the 3D surfaces to the 2D DDS surface? I've been trial and error'ing it. Very tedious. Place different colors/symbols all over, render to DDS, refresh in the model viewer. Look for symbol/color I'm interested in. This is super difficult for the very small surfaces. Anyway, hope you like it so far! DCS Rocks! T-Bo
