    GRIPEN MOD

    Edited typo.

    There used to be a Gripen mod out from the 1.5 era along with the Viggen, but they no longer work now due to the new .EDM formatting and several internal changes in the aircraft Lua design.

     

    I would love to get Gripen AI for DCS 1.5, any knows where to get one? The one as mentioned above works well in 1.2x.

    - DCS A-10C 1.1.1.1 Stand Alone

    - DCS 1.2.16

    - DCS 1.5.8

    - DCS 2.5.3 (last one to support Hawk)

    - The latest DCS Beta

     

    And all of it on Windows 10 ver 1803, DOS Su-27 on DosBox and Flaming Cliffs 1.12b on VM XP-Pro. Crazy, but I love it. More fun getting it all to work than to fly sorties late into the night.

    Hello,

     

    I have tested this on my 2.5x install and it is fantastic. I am hoping to fly this bird in my 1.5.8 install, due to limitations of my PC it is the install of DCS I fly the most.

     

    Does anyone out there in the community could point me to v1.03P of this mod? The link on the forum in post 1 leads nowhere. I contacted the maker of this mod but they no longer have older versions in their archives.

    Hello,

     

    Does anyone out there in the community have version v1.03P of this mod? The link on the forum in post 1 of the old thread no longer works, and I would love to get this one for my 1.5 install as well as archival purposes. Magical people who made this mod no longer have older versions in their archives.

    Hi there,

     

    With great interest I have watched instructional video on Skyhawk takeoff. I can honestly say that there is no module in the pipeline (DCS native or 3rd party) I am more excited about than this one.

     

    At present, I am counting days to fly this scooter.

     

    Thank you again for your immense efforts making this dream of many simmers a reality.

    Is it possible to have Mig-21 activated in DCS 1.2.16, 1.5.8 & 2.5.2?

    Hello mdw2,

     

    Thank you for your reply. That is exactly the 1.2 DCS version I am running.

     

    I am just worried that in my DCS 1.5 and 2.5 versions, Mig-21 is activated and all good, but DCS 1.2 on the same PC gives error "Unable to run the application due to integrity fault of the Activation Key".

     

    If I activate Mig-21 in version 1.2, will it mess up other 2 DCS Mig-21 activations?

     

    I have read here on this forum many posts people having quite a grief activating Mig-21.

     

    If anyone could answer this, I would be most grateful.

    NS430 Navigation System Pop Up not found

    Bless you WildBillKelsoe, I spent days trying to get the NS430 to show as a popup, from DCS repair to numerous modules install and uninstall. Lalt+Lshift+B finally did the trick.

     

    By the way, is this magical key combo anywhere in the manual? I completely missed it if it was.

    Absolutely love the Hawk.

     

    Thank you for such and amazing module,

     

    I love the hawk as I do DCS with all the bugs, as is. The thing is, I am a software engineer and a programmer so I know difficulties you face every day.

     

    Every time I find a bug, I ask myself if I could do a better job myself. The answer is, basically that you, DCS coding guys and module coding guys are semi-gods in what you can do with ones and zeros.

    Eurofighter Typhoon

    So with the argumentation that it would outclass any aircraft in DCS it would be useless to have any aircraft such as the Eurofighter Typhoon in DCS World?

     

    I mean where do we want to start, if we want to start, and more information and data is declassified, with aircraft that entered service beyond the 2000's?

     

    Same thing can be applied to older aircraft, if there are no opponents it shouldn't see life in DCS?

     

    In my opinion any aircraft would fit into DCS World because it is a simulation of flight, however I understand that there is still the multiplayer or simply play area and that this or any other aircraft like the Eurofighter would cause problems in terms of unbalance.

     

    Agreed. The other night I setup a quick mission hunting 2 "Doras" with Su-33. I got them every time. There was probably some imbalance...

    On a more serious note, DCS is fun, a bit of approximation is fine (anyone remembers Kh-29 on Su-27 Flanker in Flanker 1.2?) Typhoon module would not be limited to flying head to head with Mig-29. It would simply be a fun to fly, or watch in AI action.
