  1. Well darn. Must of been a placebo (or switching from VR and non-VR).
  2. Hi All, not sure if anybody has noticed or made mention, but the latest few nvidia drivers include an option for sharpening. At its default setting, it seems to work very well. I've been using it extensively in P3D, XP and DCS with great results. Perhaps it's a placebo (not that I have any complaints with my Rift S to begin with), but VR looks much clearer to me. No performance impact and everything just looks better. Give it a shot if you haven't already :) Hope this helps
  3. How'd you "fix" the Lua file?

  7. I didnt even get the patch. Nothing dl'd at all for me, and yes im on the open beta :/
  8. It's not a hype thread without the entire Iron Eagle Soundtrack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bN-eyz9YK-E
  9. Are those Bugle Boy Jeans that you're wearing?
  10. I would guess another 3-4 weeks. The list of things they are still working on seems fairly in-depth. Just guess though. This module looks be developing pretty quickly so I could be completely off (again, I was just completely randomly guessing with the 3-4 weeks).
  11. That's not your videocard, that's the Reverbs small sweetspot. You have to looks directly at something to take advantage of the increased resolution.
  12. The Reverb has solid resolution in the dead center/sweet spot. Once your eyes deviate from there, it gets blurry, fast. I tested the Reverb against the Rift S for a good 3 days straight...as in 10+ hours a day flying...switching back and forth. In all honesty, the only good thing about the Reverb was the higher resolution, which in my opinion, is negated by the much smaller sweet spot as well as a few other aspects that really bugged me.
  13. I returned my Reverb yesterday. The clarity was very good, but for me, that's where the pros ended. The resolution is better than the Rift S, but the Rift S is still very good and I have no issues reading the gauges in DCS. In the end, the list of cons just exceeded the list of pros, and for me, didn't warrant the $250+ price premium over te Rift S. In retrospect, I sort of understand why clarity is the only thing mentioned about the Reverb in so many forums....it's sort of the only aspect the HMD really has going for it (all things considered). To those who do like it, enjoy your
