The heat blur in DCS and Lock on is implemented when the aircraft is under 500 kilometers per hour, it will show the heat blur. However, as Jpanside describes in a steep dive, depending on the speed of the A-10C at that certain point, it will or will not show. It is only visible at lower speeds.

Funny. I only just noticed this thread. And I WILL CALMING ASK THIS: WHY ISN'T THE F-15 ON THERE?!

Hey.. didn't something happen very similarly in another conflict.... Pilot wasn't looking, Weapons officer had to pull hard before the F-15E collided with the ground? Or was that my imagination? Drat, must've been another one of those wishful dreams :D
