  1. Many thanks for the insight LucShep. Wowser, I was maybe thinking 700-1000 tops so may just have to rethink and think about if I could justify 2k+ on a computer. For the monitor, I haven’t got one and happy just to go with advice on what’s needed.
  2. It’s just a link to all the gaming pc’s they do that I can buy off the shelf at various specs but don’t know what I’m looking at.
  3. Hello all, I am after advice please on where to buy a pc from as I have no idea, I’ve looked at pc world here in the UK and have no idea if the spec is good enough, I’ve looked at pc builders and that’s beyond me asking what motherboard I want as I have not got a clue. All I’d like to do is run either the F-16, F/A-18, F-14 or the A-10 comfortably and not have to worry about it crashing like I had with my previous pc. I have nothing from my previous pc so totally starting from scratch so will need the monitor, keyboard, mouse everything so any help to where to buy and what to buy would be really appreciated. This is a link to pc world here on the UK https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming-pcs/computing/desktop-pcs/desktop-pcs/317_3055_30057_xx_ba00010707-bv00308579/xx-criteria.html And the spec of most of the modules on here is; Recommended system requirements (HIGH graphics settings): OS 64-bit Windows 8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Core i5+ at 3+ GHz or AMD FX / Ryzen; RAM: 16 GB (32 GB for heavy missions); Free hard disk space: 120 GB on Solid State Drive (SSD); Discrete video card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX VEGA 56 with 8GB VRAM or better; Joystick; requires internet activation. Any buying advice would be greatly appreciated, obviously budget also, I haven’t got a clue what they cost but as long as it’s that recommend spec I’ll have to run with it. Many thanks, Ashley
  4. Thank you so much Paganus and MAXsenna for your help and information, I’ll see what the VR spec is and how much that will cost and go from there. Might be a while up and running hut I’ll get there and looking forward to it. Do I require constant internet access as I don’t have that just my phone that I can hotspot if needed.
  5. Yeah I have the serial number on the booklet inside the box. Is it best to talk to support and go from there? If I have to buy it again I might look at a different platform but have to buy the pc first though.
  6. Hello all, I’m after some help and advice please as I have no idea about computers. I purchased the original A-10C boxed game back in 2011 and my computer was never really up to running it properly it just kept crashing. Anyway, moving forward after having children and now having spare time on my hands as I live away I want to buy a new pc for this game. It says on the back of the case in the recommended system requirements run windows vista or 7 which I know are now obsolete. I have also noticed looking at the version in the E-shop that the requirements have been updated saying windows 10, has the game had a revamp to run on this new system or is it still the same original version and my version will run on a new pc which I haven’t bought yet and looking at options. I really have no idea when it comes to on the tech side of things I would just love to play this game as I couldn’t do a lot with it before as it would just crash during a flight but loved it when it did work. Any advice would be most welcomed, I’m in the UK so any pointers to a recommendation on what to buy would be helpful too. Many thanks, Ashley
  7. Many thanks for your replies, I'll give it a go and see how I get on. Ashley
  8. Front wheel help Hello all, I have just bought and uploaded Black Shark 1.0.0 and looking forward to getting stuck in. I am totally new to the sim and only clocked up 9 minutes flying time at the minute and that was spent chasing it around. I have started the tutorials but when I take control the front wheel seems to have a mind of it's own and does a 90 degree turn to the left and then I start moving round in circles. Rudder input corrects it but then I let go of the rudder the wheel does the same. I lift the nose to centre the wheel and back on the ground it just happens again. Even trying to apply the brake doesn't stop me from go round in circles. I'm using a thrustmaster joystick and caliberated it no end and everything saying it's centred, any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Ashley
