I to have bad performance with Dcs and VD. I am only getting 33fps in cockpit. If I look up at the sky I get 66fps. With usb 2 I got slight better performance but the image is not as good as with VD. i have activated 90hz via sidequest but it doesn't help. Other games runs fine on VD. I have a ryzen 3700x 1080ti 32gb ram and all installed on an SSD.

Please share what settings you end up with. I am struggling a bit to get ok results. I also have a Q2 and 1080ti. Rest of system is 3700x and 32 gb ram and ending up with 33-36 fps and a bit of stuttering. It acally runs smother on VD that with usb cable. If you want to launch the game in VD right click on the streamer icon on your desktop and select launch game from there =)
