  2. that they know about it probably see this post : i've experienced same problem in the Pandemic ka50 problem, infantry is nearly impossible to kill, rocket pods and HE gun alike were only draining their HP but not killingthem

  4. hey, thanks for the suggestion. I tried with and without the datalink option and with and without the EPLRS default option too. Same result in all scenarii, jtac options in the f16, not in any of the 2 choppers
  5. Hello, I tried to have jtac designate target for choppers, but the JTAC radio item is not visible. I don't know if it's by design, i didn't find any mention of aircraft only in the ME manual. Attached is a simple mission with 1 f16, 1 mi24 and 1 ka50. 1 enemy group and 2 jtac with "perform task- FAC assign group" (1 for the chopper and their lower freq, one for the F16) As pilot of the F16, i do see the JTAC radio item, but either as hind or kamov pilot, it's not showing. If it has always been the case by design, appologies for only finding out now hind_jtacTest.miz
  6. Hi, in the Mission 01, i think the preset as given in the pdf kneeboard are swaped for ch3 & 4. Returning to the boat, Lead tells to switch to CH3 for marshal (which match the pdf) but in my plane, ch3 = 256 (texaco) and ch4 = 144 (Marshal)

So building on your idea, i did it like this: Place the unit in the scene (i like the ground vehicule/ fortification/ tacan beacon) A- set the frequency in a standard waypoint action B- add a triggered action for the object (3rd tab): Transmit message (whatever sound file) for 60s (don't check loop ) C- add 3 triggers: 1) mission_start: set flag 1 2) Switched condition/ flag is false (1) / flag on (1) 3) Repetitive Acion / Time since flag (60)/ AI TASK PUSH (the action created in step B) , FLAG OFF(1) it's a bit cumbersome for just 1 beacon..but still cheaper than launching the while scripting framework and whatnot
  8. i'm all for supporting this endeavour - We need more era focused units! no point in fighting a SA15 with an F86 . both from fighting and support vehicles. Special vehicle like the SCUD last year gave very interesting scenario oportunities. I'd like to see more of that kind of things. - Building with proper texture according to map (grass green bunker in desert map => no thank ) I fly in a group, most don't have wwii asset pack cause we don't fly them, not the other way around. So if there was a good unit pack for a reasonable price (think CA/ wwII pack) it will be a no brainer. Everybody playing DCS is already throwing hundreds € in gear and module, stop pretending you won't buy another one . Looking at the recent amazin work of the French_Pack, it gave us mission makers plenty of will and ideas to create more focused action: exactly what DCS lacks: game content ! Go @Battlefield Productions !

Hello, reporting an issue with the "Transmit message" action: - in the ME I create a radio beacon for navigation with 2 actions on a unit : o Set Frequency o Transmit message(tried on loop and duration 3600s) - I host the mission on a dedicated server that pauses when no players are connected - I join the server, test the beacon, it works as expected - I disconnect and reconnect to the same server: I don't receive the beacon anymore.
  10. Since last friday update, the F10 ruler tool doesn't really work. the ruler is drawn from a position (i can't understand the logic of it) to an offset position of the mouse cursor. It's unusable. It works normally if not in VR.
  11. 1- During a mission (single player) where i set up a warehouse and connected it to an airfield suppliers 2- i open the F10 map , click on the warehouse and on the little '>' button to view its content 3- when i change category by pressing the radio buttons on the left, the list isn't not refreshed, i must close the popup and reopen it as in step 2 to see the proper equipment list.

Hello, i'm digging this old post to share an experience i had today, and I wasn't aware this module was simulating failure to some extend :) Flying in caucasus in snowstorm with low temp, i had both engine ice protection and pitot heat. after take off all the pressure instrument failed (speed, VVI and altimeter) so i guessed i had both pitot and static port blocked. But didn't know what to do, followed with my flight plan and after a very stressfull cloud descent , instrument came back to life. Very stressfull and awesome! Thanks Aviodev if it was all intentional ;) love this module.
  13. yep, i confirm the west to east, no snap bug. Also, on the topic of trains, I added a train in the editor for the player to search, but when searching the area, multiple trains were spotted, sometimes on the same track (going same direction at least :) ) with barely a 1km separation between them. Is it because of civilian trafic not disabled ? does this option have an impact on train too ? Are train randomly generated on the map or is it like in the Caucasus map (long time ago) where each train had a schedule ? otherwise, very cool ME tool to create train :thumbup:

Kinda undirectly related problem but we noticed (me and friends) that if you do your binding for an aircraft (we tried 2 ) from the menu, without launching a mission, the binding are all gone and lost when you either start a mission or restart game. They're only saved when within a mission (solo or MP).
