  1. Putze, Have a few guys who plan on flying this as a coop soon, screwed around with it tonight as a quick test as we search for a better solution to a buggy Op Bactria that hasn't aged well. Accidentally "killed" the first mission with F10 thinking we needed to select it as our mission. Oops. 2nd mission is TOUGH. Only one of us has a Hornet and even 4 Harps didn't make it through. Looked as if the fleet was going to bail us out and kill the convoy eventually though. That said, we see now (happily) that it will require better coordination with CAP/Sweep and attackers to make our way in. If I knew how to script this would be what I've wanted to make for years (unlocking your progress through as you go). Will absolutely leave some feedback if we run into anything, but the vibe was we were excited to go for a more serious attempt (there was some eye rolling at the Kenny Loggins cameo but truthfully all thought it was great). So far seems well polished and perfect for a good coop. Cheers and thanks. (PS forgive me, I did some edits to change to hot starts so we could try it out faster).
  2. Experienced all of the above symptoms tonight in MP. 1) Tape player stops working (cannot rewind or play) 2) CTD when hit flip tape (opened up an instant action to confirm again)
  3. I have just discovered that you cannot move the TDC in a multiplayer mission unless the jet has waypoints in the mission editor. This may be your problem. Try throwing a waypoint two or down and then try again.
  4. I have run into this as well, and it is not mentioned on the official bug tracker. The above description is accurate: clicking to change the delivery method instantly drops all flares at once. Also, the rocket illumination version do not cause the terrain below to glow, but this may be an ED item.
  5. (Under VR, at least) If you mouse over the altimeter's knob to adjust it the QFE setting, the little "altimeter setting" hint, bubble, highlight or whatever you wish to call it appears to the right of the knob and directly obscures the very numbers which you are attempting to change. If it is an easy solution, is there a way to have the hint bubble appear elsewhere, such as the opposite side (to the left of the knob), as to not block the QFE view? I hope I'm not missing a simpler or obvious solution.
  6. Yes. You can replace the Hogs with whatever you want (and can move them from taking off out of Senaki to departing from the CAG) The biggest pain is not changing AC but rather changing the coalition and the associated triggers/comms to that coalition (and recognizing additional aircraft). I.e., the original triggers look for Pig Flight 1 through 4 as individual groups (Each Pig is a group unto itself), and assumes they are all four from the UK. Going through and adding more "groups" (of one) and transferring the coalition to the US is the brunt of the work I have already done. Apologies to the original authors, of course- but it was closest to the sea for naval stuff and had the largest "groups" so adding more was easier. Oh, and I'm a masochist so I made it night, snowy, and overcast to require teamwork. :pilotfly:
  7. I have a copy of Bactria that works just fine with 4x A-10cs, 2x AV8Bs, 2x Hornets, and naval tankers- the naval assets being in the same flight but departing from Stennis (Thought the Tarawa was screwing up the ICLS so dropped it from the CAG). The caveat is that it's only Pig flight (now a flight of six). I wanted US skins for US aircraft and Pig had the largest flight already, so I could more easily add 2 more rather than 4. Oh, and I was probably VERY sloppy moving the 1.5 version's targets out of 2.5's new tree areas, which means it needs more work, but the brunt of changing groups and countries has been completed. If you're interested in a copy the easiest was is to hit me up PM with a discord name I guess. I have adored the mission for years, excited a new one is in the works.
  8. Perhaps if TPOD is in HOTAS mode it does the FOV? The one time I used HOTAS mode it didn't seem all that beneficial to just clicking regardless.
  9. Gut feeling suggests you're not letting the throttle come full to the backstop because you have the fuel cutoff lever on.
  10. It may be related, so I won't start a new thread- but the last two nights I've had an issue when sidearms are selected, locked, the gun fires and the sidearm does not. Quite a surprise when you're staring at a SAM launcher.
  11. Spawning with engines running seems to mitigate this a bit.
  12. Yup. A LOT of M2k lately and lights work just fine....Only the flood works until the engine kicks in and fires the alternators or whatever. EXCEPT (and this has been duly (and duel-ly) noted by the guy I'm trying to teach) the right-half of the right console lights do not turn on (surely a bug) and I hope it's been reported or I have been derelict in my duty...
  13. At the moment, at least for me, it's unusable in VR. Upon entering a vehicle, turning your head provides the opposite direction it should (left and right), which is immediately nausea inducing. Entering and selecting JTAC mode makes it serviceable to drop your smoke or lase or whatever, but that's the max of it.
  14. This is happening to me since Friday's update, and I've been flying a lot of the Mirage lately (teaching a buddy landings, actually).
  15. No joy. Repaired and something fixed but not evidently this. I have tried turning on the easy radios, thinking perhaps that was it, and there still isn't an option for JTAC. Destroying the 3 primaries and simply flying home and landing is also not sufficient for "passing" the mission, despite it being the primary. What exactly is supposed to happen? I am confident there is some kind of trigger that isn't being hit. I opened up the mission in the editor and I cannot edit or check anything out. I may try turning on icons and destroying the secondary objective as well, if it isn't hidden. Even then, when I take out the AA targets, there is no kind of trigger activating anyway. It may be a JTAC type bug, which I've noticed with JTAC trying to work at night= nogo (at least IR pointer-wise), despite it being one of DCS' bread and butter features. Not that I've had it work 100% well with the Gazelle anyway.
