Hi Flappie, Replaced the RAM sticks and indeed this has sorted the issue. Have went through the Startup tutorial for the F15E in 2D and VR and thankfully no more crashes. Thanks for looking into the crash files for me, appreciated. PJ

Hi, As an update I've ran a memory test using memtest86 and its flagged up errors in the PC memory, this is probably why I'm getting these crash issues. I will need to replace the memory sticks and retest once installed then provide a further update. PJ

Hi Flappie, Tried the Su-25T and unfortunately DCS crashed. dcs.log-20230630-211326.zip Is this a similar crash to the previous, terrain related? Thanks for the suggestion Lock-Os but I've re-formatted and re-installed DCS. PJ

Hi, Went through Flappies suggestions - - DCS Cleanup & repair - no errors found - Error checked the drive that DCS is installed on - no errors found DCS still crashes after a couple of minutes during the startup training mission for the F15E. Next I did the following - - Re-installed latest DCS Openbeta using the Caucasus map and only installed the F15E module - Removed the Nvidia drivers using DDU tool, installed the latest drivers Running DCS in VR and again after a few minutes, normally after starting the second engine in the tutorial, the game freezes. Latest crash logdcs.log-20230629-205919.zip Any thoughts on why its still crashing would be appreciated. PJ

Hi, I'm experiencing repeated crashes in DCS, I've done a slow repair and have no mods installed. I've attached the crash log if anyone could shed any light on what might be the cause? Many thanks PJ dcs.log-20230627-212124.zip

Hey Fang, are you playing the game in full window mode? Pressing left Alt and Enter to get the game to run in full screen. I find if I don't have the game in full screen that clicking on the left or right console areas of the aircraft can sometimes make you click the mouse pointer outside of the game window. Just a thought.

Totally agree, VR visual improvement was noticeable straight away, shadows in particular where solid and consistent. Great job ED

I'm not seeing any difference between the 2 modules in VR, get a reasonable 40ish FPS with VR on low settings. On each OB update I delete the contents of the FXO and metashader2 folders too so this may help.

47 back in March, been into sims since the late 80's going from an MSX to an Amiga 500 and then a few PC upgrades since.

Yeah I know how you feel, 2 just aint enough :D
