Quick question with weapons that require a datalink pod. I use the Liberation dynamic campaign a lot. Normally when outfitting either AI or player flights with Walleyes or SLAMs I'll usually put 2 of the weapons on the outboard pylons. I try to carry 2 extra AMRAAMs hoping between the standoff weapons and the extra pair of missiles that they don't need an escort. Is it better to run the fuel tank and a double rail launcher for the AMRAAMs on the inner pylons with the data link center line, or should I run the double rail launcher and the data link on the inboard pylons and leave the fuel tank centerline? Also is there a huge advantage or reason to take a TGP?

The vanilla Stennis that shipped with the Hornet had no deck crew. It was very plain jane. Hence Supercarrier

I was using the DCS Liberation just now. I noticed something. I don't know if it's a Liberation issue or a DCS issue. If you have more than 1 Tomcat in the same flight they won't both setup on CAT 1 and 2 at the same time. The first one will setup on Cat 1. The second one will park behind Cat 2 and wait until the first one launches before he approaches the second cat and hooks up.
-
Even if you're using Cat 1 or 2?
-
I've had this happen a few times. I will taxi my hornet up to the cat and the crew will just stand there. The request launch in the radio commands doesn't seem to do anything.

I tried the Crisis in the Persian Gulf Hornet for the first time. When I taxi up to the catapult I cannot get the cat crew to direct me in, hook me up etc. Is there something I should be doing?

I tried the Syria map during one of the last free trials. Unfortunately my computer bogged down a bit. Only 16gig of RAM. I heard that it's running better with 2.7. Is this true? How much better?

I've only got a thrustmaster hotas x nothing special. I do usually load her out pretty heavy. I'll give a lighter load a shot

Quick Question. I've been using DCS for a little bit. I always left the curves, saturation etc for the stick axis at the defaults. I fly the A-10CII and the Hornet the most. I've always thought the A-10 was a little sluggish in roll rate. I know it's not a Hornet or a Viper. Today I happened to notice that the stick in the cockpit moves slower than I move the stick on my HOTAS. I'll get to the stops on the HOTAS but the stick in the cockpit isn't hard over. Should I change the settings? Is that the problem? I've see youtube videos and stuff and seen some snappy rolls and whatnot but I can't seem to replicate it.

Just curious, are there any big advantages/disadvantages over using the litening over the ATFLIR or vice versa?

nobody seems to be carrying an ECM pod, I thought it was pretty much standard to have an ECM pod and a pair of AIM-9 -
thanks for the help as always guys

Quick question, I'm sorry if it's dumb or repeated. If I have a JDAM or JSOW selected and it's in TOO mode and I hit waypoint designate, it feeds the waypoint coordinates to the TOO for that station. Is their either a way to slave the TGP to a waypoint without it feeding info to the weapon, or is there a way to remove that info from the TOO mission without taking the TGP off the target?
