  1. Nevermind I fixed it. I took a long break from DCS and forgot the many small intricacies of the game. I didn't have the correct weapon selected even though I had the TGP as my SOI. Once I had a GBU selected it began to move. I'm such a noob.
  2. Another thing I noticed is when I push the slew switch and hold it in a direction I'll get a number and letter directly underneath the coordinates in the upper left portion of the TGP screen, or to the immediate right where the "Gray Off" is. Usually this number and letter is flashing very quickly like it's a stuck key on the keyboard. I've tried to set the keyboard back to its default on the controller settings but it didn't appear to fix it.
  3. I just tried pressing TMS up/down and it's still not working.
  4. Hello everyone. Is anyone else having problems with slewing the TGP? I use the TM Warthog and the cursor slews when I have the FCR as SOI, but when I switch over to the TGP and try to slew the camera it will not move and appears stuck. I've tried uninstalling the viper module and reinstalling it but no luck. I've also done a repair on my Open Beta and still nothing. I'm running out of options.
  5. For those who are wondering why anyone would be interested in the A-7 Corsair just listen to the Fighter Pilot Podcast and an interview with a pilot who flew the plane. He gives interesting insight on the plane. I learned a lot about this plane from this interview.
  6. I wouldn't mind seeing an F-111 Aardvark, F-4 Phantom, or A-6 Intruder. As for the red force, I could see the Mig-23 Flogger. For the WWII era how about the P-38 or maybe even the B-17? I used to play Air Warrior back in the day and having a fully manned B-17 was fun (all the gunners plus a bombadier).
  7. I noticed the negative values when I was doing Training Missions. I noticed it because the very first mission I selected after downloading the module was the training from a cold start. I then selected the taxi and takeoff. When I checked my logbook my values were in the negative. Once I selected other non-training missions the flight hours went into the positives.
  8. I'm curious if DCS has ever considered doing a ETO map mimicking the Cold War years? My father was in the US Army and we were stationed over in West Germany twice 79-82 & 85-90, so I remember living in a heightened state of security and sometimes fear being so close to the front lines of the Cold War. The US bases, along with French and West German bases, countered by the East German and Soviet bases would be amazing in my opinion. Just the bases located in West Germany you had Ramstein (F-16s), Sembach (A-10s), Hahn (F-16s), Bitburg (F-15s), Rhein-Main (support), Spangdahlem (F-16s) , Zweibruken (F-4s). Further west you had Soesterberg (F-15s) in the Netherlands, Torrejon (F-16s) in Spain. England has Lakenheath (F-15s, F-111s). To the south you had Aviano (F-16s) in Italy. The users of Combat Arms can use the Fulda Gap as a potential battle ground. A-10s were made specifically for the ETO to fend off a Soviet attack through the gap. I think the map makes perfect sense for DCS, and I think it would bring a very dynamic theatre to this game.
  9. Hello all! Just a little insight on my purchase with Realtus (BTW this is my first ever post on the forum.) I made my purchase during the early portion of their pre-order. I think I was within the first 200 orders according to their website counter. Time goes by and I receive sporadic emails whenever something occurs during production. Time continues to go by and a length of time when I receive no emails. I begin to think was I scammed. It's about 6-7 months later when they when they finally began to receive their first shipment of Realtus chairs. My expectation was getting mine from that first batch since I was an early purchaser. The email claimed they had received enough to begin shipping. I forgot what the exact number was, but I do remember my order number was within the the number of final product they received from the factory. I was for sure going to get mine I waited.....and waited.....and waited. I finally contacted them and asked if they shipped mine. They were slow to respond but they did respond and said they were looking into it. I sent them a copy of my original receipt and asked why I didn't receive mine in the first batch that was sent out. Next thing I get is an email with a trouble ticket stating they are looking into my order. I honestly think they lost my original order and were surprised when they saw my receipt I sent them. **HOLD ONTO YOUR CONFIRMATION RECEIPTS AND EMAILS** Communication is not this company's forte. I finally got my order a little more than A YEAR LATER. This company works on their own timeline and that timeline is SLOW. I think they're a really small operation and their manufacturer probably has other products that are higher on the totem pole. Anyhow I can only say to be patient and you will eventually get your product. As to say whether it's worth it? I think it works well, it adds a cool element to your flying, and if you use VR it really accentuates the feeling like you're in the plane. Is it a necessity? No but if you enjoy flying and want to add another element I think it would be your worthwhile. Hope this helps those who are experiencing the same as I did when waiting for mine.
