  1. Thanks, Beldin for uploading and sharing the screenshots with the Forum. Yes, I received them. I just haven't had time to sit down and concentrate on them. I planned to lighten the flight deck textures a little so you can see oil and grease spots. I will dirty her up a little. I need to correct the US Flag and add weapon sounds & files as well. In time. The V-22s look fine to me. In the present day, I mostly see F-35s on deck. Looks good. Great job with the landing spots. Thanks again.
  2. Thanks Thanatos31, I appreciate that. Nice photo. I try to make each one better than the last. Each mod I learn something new. To answer your question. Yes, that's my plan after I release the next group of mods. I will revisit all the Amphibious ships. America is one of those ships. Beldin has made my job a bit easier with creating the landing and parking spots on deck. I play with her sometimes to see what work I need to do on her but to make sure everything is running as it should. I need to sit down and take my time with her because it's a bigger ship. At the moment she's working great in DCS.
  3. Thanks, Citizen. I assume your lag has diminished. The idea of the mod came from what's going on in the Red Sea. A Loaded ammunition ship headed for Yemen.
  4. Hey guys, I have made an optional version of the Rebel ship with tarps. I don't want to hurt Eddie's eyes. Also, some of you may not want to see the missiles and bombs. I found a free downloadable tarp on Sketchfab. Enjoy. Version 1.0.2 with Tarps I'm headed back to the Shipyard.
  5. Too late Eddie, I've already reduced the size of the file and uploaded an update. I need to find a tarp or something to cover them with. Next update. Hello everyone I have reduced the file size of the mod. It should be game-friendly. Rebel Ship Oscar 1.0.1 has been updated and released.
  6. Hey Citizen, it's weird because I reduced the file size but when I updated the weapons the file size grew again. I will reduce it again to make it game-friendly. No worries. Thanks for the feedback.
  7. Hey HawaiianRyan. It is now. I forgot to publish the website update. Thanks. Hey Tripod. The Icebreaker is a WIP. The textures need to be overhauled.
  8. Thanks Toan. We have to always adjust to the updates DCS releases. Everyone I have released the Rebel Ship Oscar. Nothing fancy about her. It's a nice size file because of the weapons I added on the topside decks. I probably should have placed tarps on top of them. I don't think any ships would be crazy enough to carry weapons on deck to be seen. Enjoy.
  9. Good Morning and Good afternoon everyone. I have released LPD Foudre version 1.0.3 hull update. I will send the Iranian Frigate out for testing today. Hoping to release her tomorrow. Thank you all for your patience.
  10. I am. The one thing I don't want is to make 3d modeling a job. That's why I pace myself. I think everyone understands by now. I do what I can when I can. Thanks, HighMaintenance. I forgot, I will send you a PM after this. That is a beautiful model and no, they probably won't sell it. I've asked several 3d artists about selling their mods and all of them said no. I think because they belong to a company of some sort. Check this model. USNS Rappahannock (T-AO-204)
  11. That sounds like the gator I was on. My first ship the USS Spiegel Grove L3D-32. Our racks were no more than 2-3 inches thick and we slept under wool blankets. Always broke down and import. Now the US Marines had it bad. They had a cot to sleep on. It was just a thick layer of fabric. Just enough to hold them up and they were stacked like bunk beds. 3 beds high. We ate pretty well onboard. New Recruits had to work 90 days in the Galley cleaning dishes, serving food, and gathering supplies for the cooks. They were called Mess Cranks. 1986-1989. I still remember those days. Life was pretty good for me back then.
  12. Hey Eddie, Yeah, we use the smooth tool in 3d max to correct the wrinkles. However, what I'm seeing is it depends on the 3d model itself. In some models, the smoothing works great. In the case of the Foudre. I had to replace the entire hull because Smoothing made it worse. I think because it's a very low poly model. The 2nd photo is an example of a bad smoothing. I will upload the latest Foudre Edm when I finish correcting this issue. Smoothing may work on that model Eddie if it's a higher poly model. I like that LST. Is it still around in the UK? Thanks for that insight, Toan. I try to keep up with all DCS updates that will affect the 3d models. I didn't see anything on that. I don't see the issue often just mentioned with low poly models. All, try Toan's fix to see if that corrects the wrinkles and dark spots in the hull. Thanks.
  13. No worries. Thanks. It looks fine in Max. I will export it again to see if that corrects the black spots before someone nitpicks it. Thanks.
