Hi, I was wondering if there will be more info (you tube video... ) becoming avialable from ED to what is simulated in DCS (avionics, modelling, multi-player...) as the pre-order video didn't reveal/explain that much except that it looks awsome.
-
Maybe someone from ED can provide the correct procedure to follow ?
-
spidierox started following where is the triml shown ? , Startup F16 - GPS , F4E land based and 2 others
-
Hi everyone, I think 2 maybe 3 updates ago we needed to change the startup procedure: you had to engage the GPS and wait a while (4 min I believe) then you saw the mseesage GPS system before starting the alignment. Is this still the case ? (because I didn't get the GPS anymore on the DED and could have a (fast) alignment tho... ) (I saw "Tuning the IFA alignment - IFA with GPS velocity update fix" in the release notes but no clue what it means, and what is fixed)

Guys, tnx for explaining. It does make sense now.

Hello, I am getting into the F15 step by step and have a question: When I am using the targeting pod (with laser guiding bombs - cbu12) I can put the crosshair over the target. Then I press TDC --> I get the message DESIGNATE and I have target inidicators on hud so I can drop the bomb : all Ok However, reading the manual it is suggested you press the AUTO-ACQUISITION first to start initiating a track. What exactly is the difference between the two ? I suppose starting a track then designating target is the (only?) correct way ? If someone can explain would be great. Thanks in advance. Spidierox

Hi, I am interested in the F4E, but to my understanding : - current module is only land based ? (DSCG & later DMAS) - so no carrier landings ? - carrier based F4E comes later in a seperate package ? (does that also include a DSCG & DMAS version then ?) Is this correct ? kind regerads, Spidierox

ED has released a patch in the meanwhile which might address some issues related to multiplayer (last patch I believe). So my friend and I will try that out ... in a near future ...keep you posted.
-
Thanks for the reply. I also was thinking that multiplayer and DLSS is not related just because DLSS is graphics handling by the client's PC. Normally we will be flying together tonight and have a look. Good tip actually on switching it off and see what happens. Thank for the input

Hi everyone, I need some guidance here. My friend and I both use the multithreading with the new DLSS and in single player it works good. However, as soon as my friend connects to a multiplayer server his frames drop to about 20 fps. Is there any issue reported or known that DLSS drops framerates when going multiplayer ? if so any info or link would be appreciated ... still need to investigate this situation further.... thanks in advance

I was vertical ...honestly I was in VR and looking how fast I was going through the clouds and gaining altitude , full afterburner...awsome. So I will do the same and watch airspeed and AoA now... instead of looking outside...

At first I didn't want to get into a post which appearently is more important who is the whiner / complainer and things like that then actually listening to the OP. I too was surprised that in a vertical climb after T/O (let's say I took unrestricted climb very loose here) I lost both engines. I wasn't expecting that. I mean, with the F16 - F18 - F14 I don't recall that happening. The only thing is that you could stall the aircraft. Now we know the F14A had flame out issues, so I was wondering is there also an inherent problem with the F15 ? I did not see any warning in the manual about it so is this normal behavior? on the other hand I can imagine that going vertical you don't have a good flow of air into the engines and you get the flame out. I think this is more what the OP was curiuos about and so am I ...only learning the F15...

Is there somewhere a indicator, gauge, anything that shows the position of the trim ?
-
Exactly the same problem over here, just as you described it. Also send an error report to s13solutions@gmail.com but no response. A few posts ago someone even wonders if this tool is still supported. Would be a shame if it wasn't supported anymore.

Had the same issue. Also it seems after quitting DCS and coming back in the same mission I could start it. Anyway have to look into the procedure as mentioned by the poster here above to be sure.
