If you’re like the rest of us, you’ve started DCS recently or have been flying it for a while. Those singleplayer missions and campaigns are a lot of fun, but you feel as if there’s something more that can add to your experience. So, you try out multiplayer and the plethora of public servers available in the multiplayer server browser. It’s a great time, but you still feel unfulfilled even after spending an entire day flying DCS or digging into the manual and learning about your aircraft. Is it the lack of comms, cooperation, and sense of belonging to a community? Feeling frustrated at being tk’d, or getting shot down by bandits only 20 miles from the AO after a 100+nm mile flight? Tired of plinking static tanks over and over again? Let’s us energize your flights and put you on the leading edge. Ever wanted to be a part of a strike package of multiple aircraft engaging an objective? How about leading a 2 ship flight with a loyal wingman, or in a 4 ship CAP flight of your comrades while protecting allies behind you? Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are the 414th Joint Fighter Group. Founded in April of 2018, we are comprised of players just like you that seek to elevate their multiplayer experience. Here at the 414th, we aim to push the boundaries of what the DCS World multiplayer PvE space has to offer us while flying together and respecting your time commitments. This is what we offer: Mandatory attendance is not a requirement. IRL will always come first. Casual environment outside of missions, “flip the switch and lock in” when it’s GO time. Learn as you fly. We will help you learn DCS World and how to be effective in a cooperative environment. Part of our success stems from teaching others how to wield their aircraft of choice in this virtual combat environment. We have a simplified training program that will assist you in getting spun up in your airframe. Cooperation is the name of the game! We deploy multiple airframes in an operation, ranging from the F-14B, F-15E, F-16C to the F/A-18C. DCS-SRS is a requirement, we will help with the installation and use of this software should you require assistance. If you’re new to it, we will also teach you to speak with confidence and brevity over the radio waves as well. We would like all prospective members to be over the age of 18. We do make exceptions for families flying wanting to fly together, and for other scenarios on a case by case basis. 24/7 Dedicated training server. Monthly PvE operations and scenarios that will test your skills in your aircraft. Joint Operations with other groups on a quarterly basis. Custom liveries. [414th][Casual-milsim][Beginner-friendly][All platforms][All regions] The 414th Joint Fighter Group is a beginner-friendly organization for those that are looking to fly with others online with no-extra frills or fine print attached and no mandatory attendance required. We are open to all pilots, no matter their location in the world, gender, or age. Our mission is to provide for the organization, training, operation, and deployment of effective and mission capable airframes and aircrews to the strike fighter squadrons we host. Most of our pilots are in the US, with a couple located in EU. Flights are typically around 1700 PST through 2000 PST on the weekdays and 1600 PST through 2300 PST on the weekends. We hold our training sessions every Sunday, sometimes we opt for a session of our Liberation campaign. Our operations are held on a monthly basis and are designed to be challenging environments that test your thinking and capabilities as a pilot. As a Group, we are home to different squadrons that have focus in a specific airframe, such as our squadron specializing in the F-16C, the 40th Tactical Fighter Squadron “Voodoos”. We currently have openings for the following squadrons: 40th Tactical Fighter Squadron “Voodoos”: F-16C and JF-17 414th Tactical Fighter Squadron “Phantom Eagles”: F-15C and F-15E (upcoming) 414th Naval Operations Squadron: F/A-18C and F-14B We welcome pilots and backseaters of all skill levels and platforms and are willing to teach those newer to DCS the in's and out's of their respective aircraft! Strangereal World War "Does the color of the sky mean anything to you?" Strangereal World War is a PvP-oriented DCS community, bringing the world and lore from the Ace Combat series that everyone knows and loves into DCS World. Currently the server is home to 100+ people in total, distributed among 7 player factions and 11 squadrons that fight in the deep dark blue skies. Each day we are expanding our playerbase, feel free to join the fun! We accept all pilots of all backgrounds and skill levels, whether hardcore or casual, as well as differing regions. Our community is also filled with talented content creators who are continually creating skins and background lore inspired by the Ace Combat series. There are currently 7 factions fighting in the server in a daily power struggle, each with their own squadrons with different attributes, strengths, and weaknesses. USA, West Coast. For me booting it without the web gui works, I just needed to adjust the serversettings.lua to make sure it was reading the correct miz file. Not as nice as having the gui to pause,ban,restart within a couple clicks though.
