  1. In a mission of mine I had replaced the clouds and resaved. I'd completed my first A/G mission and noticed that Jester didn't call bingo until 25-2600 lbs whilst I had bingo set to the default of 4000. I usually pay more attention, so that's partially my fault. Because I was so low, I couldn't quite make it to the carrier, so we took a swim behind the boat. When trying to get a new F-14B the game hung for the F-14 reload. I know this was a problem before, but thought it fixed. What may be causing the dcs crash and Are Jester's comms for Bingo just majorly delayed sometimes? It wasn't a highly active sortie as I was just practicing my gbu bombing, so he wasn't too active in comms. Thank You
  2. Sad pandas make me cry As a virtual F-14B pilot, I certainly would love to have at least airspeed and basic altitude symbolism on my hud, heh. It'd be nice, but know it's not true to the B. I've heard the F-14BU's (Upgrade variants) had multiple configurations regarding mfds, etc.. Was this true pre-BUs, as well, or just for the F-14BUs? I'm curious to what tech would be allowed from those or near versions
  3. They beat me to it, but I'd like to reiterate and perhaps make sure some things are clear Your personal contacts will show their symbolism towards the top of the aircraft location, i.e. half square/triangle, etc.. The data-link contacts show flipped symbolism towards the bottom of where the contact is, i.e. upside down half square/triangle, etc.. Your Aircraft's target and the Data-Link's targets may differ in symbolism. This is fine. Even if the data-link shows someone as hostile (upside down arrow/triangle), you'll still have to identify and lock your aircraft's own target. For others that may see this thread and not know: -A half-square or tipped bracket represents an unknown/bogie. -A Partial triangle represents a hostile. -A half-circle represents a friendly. This is true for both your aircraft's radar and what the data-link gives out. The symbols are just flipped for the data-link showing towards the bottom of the aircraft location. There may be times, though rare, that you may see something like a full circle... Congratulations! This just means that your ins alignment may be in great shape and your seeing a friendly from both your radar and the data-link's I tried to keep this fairly basic and short. Hope this helps and if I had any major blonde moments or something (shhh, don't tell anyone) please let me know so I can correct any of the above
  4. Dang Engine Same here. I've reported this before, as well. Has happened in Single and Multiplayer. Tonight I tried using both the Stennis and SC. Neither worked :( I restarted the mission from Mission Editor and same thing :( I'm a sad sad kitty lover.
  5. I understand the hesitation, but look forward to those skins :) I couldn't have said it better myself:thumbup:
  6. OMG, I need to get it! I didn't realize they had Top Gun in 4K now:pilotfly:
  7. Sry, but I have to give you props!:prop: You made me chuckle..
  8. Sorry, I've been quite busy for a bit. Yes, he does seem to be screwing something up in some way. Side note: Sometimes Jester doesn't deselect the bomb that's been dropped or the front dash/panel is still telling me that it's there. Good thing to keep an eye out for, but I don't usually have it selected. TY:) Thanks for the tip! I'll keep my eye out:) I'll show you a video IronMike, when I start recording soon, if it happens again, thank you:thumbup: P.S. I've been having issues with getting missions to work due to an uninstall/reinstall, so it may be a little bit.
  9. I agree, whole-heartedly!
  10. Was going to say the same thing! Couldn't agree more!
  11. I love you! ;* lol You guys have always been great. Keep it up:D The Cat's my go-to fun-mobile!
  12. I'm going to try to describe, in short, of what I believe has been said in the forums by HB: If I remember correctly, they've mentioned how they've made mistakes and/or needed to make fixes as well as ED making mistakes and/or needing to fix things. There are so many variables with DCS that I don't envy anyone there job, heh. <Enter crying here> Personally, I'm looking forward to the catB launch fixes and right engine fixes:), but I understand that there are so many variables/moving parts that it'd be insane to give dates now with all the changes:( P.S. I do understand; however, the frustration with most businesses these days not having much, if any, accountability for their business or product. I just think, in this case, that perhaps they don't really have the means to commit, via patch changes, etc...
