Thanks again!!!!!

sorry I took a while to get back to ya. It does the same thing when I set it to SLIDER. Do you think its just because of the stick itself? I mean, its a budget one, but on one of the forums I saw about it, theres a classroom FULL of pilots playing this sim using the SAME stick! haha, so I know something can be configured!

well, to put it simply, it isnt working. I have the Throttle Common in Axis commands set for JOY_Z. When I open Axis Tune and move the throttle, its reacting, which I assume means that its being recognized. BUT, in the game, the throttle doesnt work, and heres the weird part: the slider button on the back of the throttle, the one that some folks like to use as another rudder...THAT is whats controlling my throttle. Push it to the left, I accelerate, to the right, slow down. Whats confusing me is that Ive looked all over in the control settings and I see nothing set for the slider button on the back of the throttle! To me, it doesnt make ANY sense, having the JOY_Z set on throttle common, having it recognized in the tune window, but only having the buttons in the back work. Arg! Help!
